NOISY and traps air ... Oddly enough!
These were the only pillow protectors I saw at the store, so I hoped for the best. After putting one on my pillow I looked at the online reviews to see if anyone else had the same annoyances ... and they do. I agree with reviewers that say these are excessively "noisy" (like a plastic mattress protector is for children) ... and I cracked up when I propped up my pillow behind me just now and actually heard air seeping out as I leaned back. What?! Other reviews say the same thing. These are not for me and will be returning.

Wish I’d Read Reviews
These make noise when you move your pillow around and despite being sealed via a zipper, inflate somehow? It deflates after you put pressure / lay on your pillow, but you shouldn’t have to do that. They were also weirdly staticy when I took them off my pillow. I got shocked like when you touch a cart sometimes when wearing rubber shoes while taking off one of them.

Reminds me of rubber sheets but for your pillows… :( I was interested in something to protect my pillows from sweat, body oil, stains etc. I was not expecting these to be so loud and uncomfortable to sleep on. Air gets trapped inside the case so you’re always dealing with inflating and deflating and the crinkling noise. I bought 2 pairs and thankfully I only open one pair. I will be returning.

Nope.
I don’t know if they are waterproof but they are crunchy, stiff and trap air inside making the pillow poof up and slowly deflate while you lay on it. I purchased the same brand but a tightly woven, much softer allergy version that will likely block most spills if caught right away.

I wish i could return these. These are the worst pillow cases. They are super noisy. I'm assuming because it's waterproof that's why it sounds like sleeping on a wind breaker or sleeping bag. They did fit my standard pillow and the quality is good BUT I cannot sleep on these. They are sooo noise with any little movement.

I followed the directions exactly as they were written, but several of the interiors of the pillow protectors stuck together -- melted. They are smaller than I had expected, and make the pillow feel harder. They are also noisy -- they crackle.

I like that it helps with allergies especially because I really needed this! My allergist recommended I get these, and it’s been helpful for sure! My only complaint is that it makes pillows less soft, and it’s not as quiet because it has a sort of rougher material because of the waterproof feature of it. You put a regular pillowcase over it but it still is noticeable that my pillow is not as soft as without the pillowcase protector on it.
