Q: How does this mattress pad hold up after multiple times in the dryer? I have heard some parts flake off from the heat. What are the drying instructions that comewith the pad?

Q: If my crib mattress is a 6" depth, will this be safe on it, or too loose?

If you have a baby or toddler and you DONT have this on your mattress- you need to stop, go get one, and put it on. then buy another for backup. Trust me, first night of flu season... it will save your mattress

Bought this in May 2025, and in the past two months it has saved my dog's orthopedic foam mattress twice without issue. It wraps perfectly around my dogs 36" x 29" orthopedic foam dog bed (4" foam mattress) and easily fits under the zip cover for the bed. My dog is 14 and has newly developed occasional incontinece when sleeping. The cover has recently saved his bed twice, each time a moderate amount of urine, much larger than just a small piddle. Cover has also been easy to wash and dry. I soaked it in machine for about an half hour before running the washer and it came out clean. Washed it with oxy clean powder and liquid detergent mix. No problems drying on medium heat.
