Q: How does this mattress pad hold up after multiple times in the dryer? I have heard some parts flake off from the heat. What are the drying instructions that comewith the pad?

Q: If my crib mattress is a 6" depth, will this be safe on it, or too loose?

Works pretty well. I haven't had any accidents happen yet so I'm not sure how absorbant it is but it washed well and the mattress with the pad cover and a sheet over it makes the child's crib feel comfortable.

What a find! Fits my 30" x 40" dog bed mats. I've been using these Cloud Island crib pad covers for well over a year or two. They have been the wisest find ever for dog beds! Makes sense to cover dog beds. It's basically a mattress. If you keep it covered, it stays clean. I put this fitted crib sheet on first, then a " wee wee pad" (for dogs I get Lenny's Pads), then I top it all with a cotton sheet that I neatly tuck under the mat. It all stays put. This is the easiest to wash bedding cover setup, and the mat stays pristine. Heck, maybe try this option for kids' mats, too. Target ought to place these crib covers in the dog section so more people discover them. That way, Target increases sales on this item. Just sell a dog bed mat that is 30 x 40 inches. Sell a "wee wee pad topper," and add the Cloud Island fitted crib sheets (yes, they fit). Now y'all are selling one item for two purposes = more sales 🎯💰, and even happier Target guests. 🙂

Does exactly what I need. Mattress is safe! I will suggest, if you put a wee wee pad, in between the fitted sheet and the protector, you can change the sheet during an accident more quickly. I literally take the wee wee pad off, leaving no need for me to wipe down the protector bc it’s dry. Then I put the new sheet on. It has made middle of the night potty training accidents go so much smoother and easier. If you’re a fan of this idea, I’ll also suggest, put a wee wee pad on the changing pad cover. Just change the wee wee pad when it gets dirty and you save on laundry!
