You can file a claim online anytime. Just follow the steps below. File a Claim Online 1. Go to www.squaretrade.com 2. Click File a Claim at the top of the page. 3. If you already have an online account, just log in. To create a new account, enter the email address you used when you purchased your protection plan, click Set Up, and follow the instructions. 4. Click File/View Claim next to the item you’re having trouble with. 5. Follow the steps to file your claim in minutes. For the fastest claims experience, be sure to collect all the information you will need before starting to file a claim (to see what you will need, click here). We will also need you to submit the item purchase receipt as it will need to be verified before your claim can be processed. To submit your receipt, please use our website upload tool. Click here for full instructions. This process should take you less than 5 minutes to create a login and upload your receipt. The file must be in JPG, TIF or PDF format and it should be less than 5MB. Remember, your receipt must clearly show the retailer’s name, item price, date of purchase, and item name.
