Q: Is there anything to add to the table to help or not scratch or get water rings? A poly coat maybe? Shouldn’t have to on a new table but definitely would like to keep it.

If you tighten the screws all the way it causes the top of the table to crack. If you don’t tighten them all the way or even try to back them off slightly, the table is too wobbly to use.

I really wanted to love this table. However, it’s damaged. I just couldn’t go through the hassle of trying to repackage it in order to return it, so I will deal with it. I do not have a Target local to where I live that’s why I shop online. I choose I’d recommend this item but only if you live near a Target so that if it is damaged the return process will be less of hassle for you.

I really love the look of this coffee table, but it has a key functional flaw. It isn't really wipeable. The lip around the edges makes it difficult to clean -- so if pet hair/crumbs/dust gather, it takes multiple tools to remove instead of just a simple swipe. Also, I've had it for about 8 months now and it seems to chip easily and some of the coloration is fading on the legs already.

This table is so perfect. I did not care for majority of coffee tables out there. This one stood out. Easily assembled & nice quality. I would like glass to put on the top because it’s not finished and doesnt clean well.
