You cannot go wrong with a DK Anthology. They have BEAUTIFUL pictures and informative, accurate information. I have purchased them for years for my classroom, and find the children INTRIGUED by what they learn. This one, however, I bought for my Dad who used to be a bird watcher/photographer. He's been very sad to have aged too much to continue doing that, but was greatly cheered by this book. He has gone over the photos again and again, remarking on the ones he has seen, the ones he had hoped to see... and recalling things he thought he had forgotten about each type... I found the anthology met a very different need this time, and am so pleased!!
