Dont be tempted by cheaper ones!
After a couple of devices batteries seemed to tank after using cheap chargers I took a deep dive into the tech and started buying Anker stuff wherever I needed to augment the Apple things, and now I don’t even use the Apple stuff anymore. It’s solid, works perfectly, and has intelligent tech for safety and to protect the device. No exploding phones and rapidly diminished batteries anymore. For people complaining about it not being fast enough, pay more attention to how much it outputs per port when there are 2, as well as why you sometimes slower is better. You’ve got to pay more for Anker stuff, but it is best in the long run.

Potential fire hazard
We bought this wall charger on Sunday. Four days later, it overheated to the point that it melted itself. It was plugged into the wall with no cable attached. We've had many other fast chargers plugged into the same outlet overnight and have never had any issues with overheating.

Broken within 1 month
I had this charger for 31 days before it stopped working. The USB port no longer charges. I tried different charging cords but it is definitely the charger itself that’s not working. Don’t waste your money. I bought this because of the good reviews, which did not hold true for me. Now I can’t return it as it’s outside the 30 day window. Would love to hear from customer service about this terrible product.

Works Really Well!

Both ports on the charger are both very powerful at fast charging, even when they are both being used at the exact same time. I highly recommend it.
