A: Hello Cee, Protection plans cannot be transferred from one item to another. That’s because each SquareTrade Protection Plan is designed for the specific item it protects. If you’ve returned your original item and purchased a similar item, you will still need to cancel your original protection plan and purchase a new plan for your new item. regards, Ali

Warranty issue
One headphone stoped working after 6 months, can’t return at Target and although there is a 1 year warranty with the manufacturer they will only replace with a refurbished item, no thank you! I said no, and they said to go directly to Target, so now what? I don’t think Target will refund. Ugh! Never buying this again!

Purchased separately to cover Beats Flex headphones that stopped working after six days. Insurer instructed me to inform manufacturer (Apple) of the problem and explain they were insured. Apple refused to recognize the insurer and told me I would have to pay out of pocket for repair. I got fleeced!

Had SquareTrade for a sound bar. Went bad and filed a claim. Very easy to use and they were very helpful. Only complaint was the amount they gave us was about $7 less than we paid, and we got it on Black Friday. Would cost about $20 more to buy same item now. But no big deal. Thankful we weren't out the entire amount.
