Q: What are the washing machine instructions: hot, warm, cold?

submitted by Me - 1 year ago

  • A: Hi - Thank you for reaching out. We appreciate your interest in Antimicrobial Towel Set. For a black terry cloth towel set, use warm water in your washing machine. Warm water is recommended for dark colors to help preserve them and remove bacteria. Additionally, washing in warm water can help set the colors. For light-colored terry cloth towels, use hot water in your washing machine to brighten them and ensure effective cleaning. Hot water helps to lift dirt and grime, and it also helps to whiten fabrics, which can be particularly helpful for light-colored towels. I hope this helps - Emma

These towels offer a great price point and a variety of colors, making them appealing for everyday use. Many guests appreciate their softness and absorbency, although some have experienced issues with shedding and fading after multiple washes. Despite the concerns, the towels are seen as a decent option for those looking for budget-friendly bath essentials, especially for college students or guest bathrooms.

I recently bought these towels, but unfortunately, they shed a lot of green lint. Even after washing them a couple of times, the lint still gets all over my body and throughout the bathroom. The absorbency also isn’t very good, so I’m pretty disappointed with the quality.

    Never ending lint

I rated 1 star because I have washed and dried these items 6x or more and I’m still left with green lint all over my body. Its extremely frustrating.

    Awful! Does not stop shedding.

Loved how soft they are but they do not stop shedding. After a shower, it would shed all over my body even after throwing in washer/dryer 2 times. The worst feeling especially because I apply lotion or body oil right after my showers.

I pre-washed these for my college kiddo. I used basic free & clear detergent, no fabric softener, nothing else in the wash with them and they came out looking bleached covered in huge discolored patches. Incredibly disappointing.

    Sheds

The overall towel is soft and a good size for after the shower. I immediately put it into the washer and drier upon arriving home, once I took a shower I was so disappointed of how much lint was coming off of it. I thought okay maybe wash 2 will fix that? Nope… let’s see at what point it stops shedding. But overall super soft and absorbent.
