  • A: my spouse has an iPad 9th gen and the 1st gen pencil does not fit. I'd suggest you contact apple support directly, because it was my understanding that only the 10th gen iPad required the adapter.

    Defective the tip was wobbly

    A few days ago I got a new Apple Pencil after my 3 year old Apple Pencil broke, I got it from target and the tip was wobbly and it's moving. The next day I exchanged the Apple Pencil for a brand new one that's not wobbly and unfortunately the Apple Pencil metal rod tip was way worse and it's even more wobbly that it may break plus it sometimes makes shake sounds when I use it. The Apple Pencil tip was wobbly that it may snap off like what my old 2023 Apple Pencil did. At least everything I can draw well and nothing wrong with it drawing on procreate. Thank god I got the full refund for the defective Apple Pencil your better off getting an Apple Pencil somewhere else instead of target. I'm scared of my Apple Pencil metal rod tip breaking off.

    Returned two pencils back to back.

    Received one new as a Christmas gift. It would not charge. I returned it and proceeded to pay 20$ more to have it shipped. Was no longer on sale. I just returned the second one that was shipped to me with no plastic covering on the box and the plastic around the pencil had already been opened and sloppily rewrapped. Disappointed.

    Sadness

    I bought it to replace my pencil that I have already. However, I think it is defective because it doesn't work on procreate even after I followed many tutorials to try and reconnect it so it works. It works fine for other apps so far except the app that I bought it for. I should have tried it sooner because it passed the return date before I tried it since it was only 30 days.
