Targus Antimicrobial Active Stylus for iPad®

seems like it would be a great product, and for the price - I mean it's not that bad. Other than the fact that it does not work, at all, I cannot get it to work with my iPad Pro 6th Gen.

Works great. Built cheaply and replacement tips are not readily available. Do yourself a favor. Buy the Apple.

Have had this pencil for a few months. It was easy to set up and would work flawlessly. The tips, however, were not compatible with Apple Pencil tips. You will have to continue buying a new targus stylus over and over since the tips cannot be bought by itself. The company said the tips are interchangeable with first gen Apple Pencil.

So I bought one of these about a week ago. Still getting used to it. When it's on, it writes very well with my 6th generation iPad. It works smoothly and without skipping. I have no idea what the antimicrobial thing is, but that's not really why I bought it. The thing is, I have a lot of trouble getting it to turn on! I have it touch it at least 10-15 times before it comes on, so I wonder if there is something wrong with the stylus itself. If anyone out there has an idea for how to improve the way I'm turning it on, please do let me know. I'm following the directions that came with it to tap the end twice. That almost never works.

I was very excited to bring this stylus home. I figured out how to charge and turn it on even though there were no instructions. It feels great and looks great. I like the flat side so it will not roll. However, the stylus will not interact with my device. Not an iPad and not an iPhone. I know that other styli (plural of stylus) do work on my phone, which is an iPhone 13. I cannot seem to get this device to interact. If it’s giving off an electrical field at the tip, it should just work without a problem it does not seem to connect to Bluetooth. And if there is a secret connection, that’s very disturbing because it means that this pen is hooking up to my device in a way that I’m not able to observe or manage. At least with Bluetooth I can see what’s going on there. I have no idea what malware or spyware could be in the microchips of the stylus. It’s concerning if there is a intelligent connection going on between pen and device, but it’s not Bluetooth and I’m not able to manage it or observe what’s coming through. There could be data transfer going on. It’s clearly not giving off a simple electric field. I have one phone with TikTok and one phone that does not have TikTok. That’s another concern. If there is intelligent data transfer, which may or may not be with Bluetooth, but is NOT managed through the Bluetooth or some other menu on my phone, I can’t control it. But if there’s intelligent data, it could pick up the bugs from The TikTok, and transfer it to my phone that I’m not willing to put TikTok on. It could transfer any data for that matter. It’s very concerned to me if there’s an intelligent connection that is being done secretly and surreptitiously between the devices without my awareness and control. But the biggest issue that brings this up at all is that it just didn’t work initially. Probably because I have Security on my phone that is blocking such connections…. I don’t know maybe it just doesn’t work.

I went through three Zag Pro’s and they suck, I bought one of these and I’m very happy with the quality!

Seems like a great product! Looking forward to ordering it once my ipad arrives! Borrowed one for use from a friend and it worked well!

I got this product from a friend for Christmas and I LOVED IT!!! I would definitely buy another because I gave mine to my grandmother to use for her iPad art, :(

I received this as a gift and I liked it at first but the tips wears out wayyy too fast and it becomes really inconsistent when turning on which wastes a lot of time.

When I accidentally spilled water it still worked so I give this Item a 5 star review

Love the design. The feel. Everything about it. Minus jt doesn’t work. I can not get it to work j my iPhone. Maybe it’s me. Maybe it’s broken. Maybe it just doesn’t work in iPhone. J dunno. But I know I wasted my money.

Bought this pen for iPad, and it does not work. I have tried with 2 iPads, and an iPhone and will not work with anything. Restarted iPads and phone, turned stylus on and off and nothing works. No instructions or clarity on what to do or how to use it. Would not recommend.

I’ve only had this pen a few days but I already love it. I wasted so much money on cheap pens that did not work or broke within 24 hours. Writing with it is so smooth, and very easy to use. It came with a charger, an extra tip, and instructions. I would definitely buy this for a friend or for myself again if needed. 10 out of 10 for sure!

After about 20 minutes I decided I needed to try it out. There are no hoops to set up, just tap to turn on and use! So simple! The sensitivity is amazing. I really wasn’t expecting too much, but this thing really works like a dream. It’s great for art, writing and really anything that your thumbs might be a bit large for. I am going to get another for my kids!

It is not heavy, magnetic so it sticks to your iPad. Perfect for drawing on your iPad or for writing. All in all I am extremely happy with it. If you want to avoid spending a lot of money purchasing the original I think this brand is the best option it exceeded my expectations.

It’s really comfortable and very accurate when it comes to writing and drawing. I love that the charge lasts for 10 hours as I’m always forgetful when it comes to charging things. It doesn’t matter how your writing looks as long as the iPad can read it. It’s so much easier than using your finger to tap stuff too. Now if you could use it on phones too that would be great!
