Make Your Own Fun Game is a kit designed to spur creativity for children 5+ and assist them in gaining self-esteem as they "create" their own board game. There is no real structure and there is no right or wrong way to do it. Your role is to "coach" and ask questions as they travel down the journey that their imagination takes them. It doesn't matter if the artwork isn't good on their box cover or if the rules don't make perfect sense. The goal of this kit is to provide young children an avenue to start and finish a project where they make the rules and break the rules. The best way to help is to encourage the child to use their critical thinking skills, art, math, and writing skills to create a fun game that can be played with family and friends.
