Q: do i need to erase everything to make space for new recordings or does it just record over the oldest videos?

A: Thank you for your inquiry. Unless you lock a video on the SD card, it should overwrite previously recorded videos.

Dash cam
Dash cam would be better with an internal battery or a longer chord on the USB chord. The long chord is on the cigarette adaptor, which my vehicle doesn't have.

Great price for this cam. Works great & is very simplistic allowing simpletons like me to understand. If you’re looking to save, while gaining essential features, then you’ve found it. Not cost prohibiting to get this doo-dad so if you find yourself unhappy it’s a small investment.

I recently purchased this camera. So far so good. However I am trying to figure out how well it takes night vision videos. The sun (day) mode is always displayed. Not sure if that is supposed to be like that at night. I expected at night it is a moon ? that would appear to show that it is at night mode.

Works great
I use this camera in the rear window of my car in order to record any incident like somebody running into the back of my car. Without proof, the other person that hit me could insist that I was backing up and hit them.

Very nice there's cam very easy to set up HD nice cam to have for your car in case of emergency or anything it has voice recording even when the car off it will come on and you can't be there for the price if you need a dash cam this is a nice games to have easy to set up as 1 2 3.
