It helps me change it between a base suction to a vent mount based on my needs quickly and efficiently. I use the vent mount in my compact car on the week days when I drove to work , and on the weekends, I use the suction cup on my jeep when I take a road trip in the mountains around me. Both options work well , and stay in place. I love that I can interchange the mounting easily and quickly. Definitely a well made piece!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a mount that would hold my phone, but I didn’t want to have to use a suction cup to put on my vent so I thought this two in one magnet phone mount suction cup and vent clip would be the best route for me. But I really don’t have a lot of good I can say about this in my experience. The suction base and the vent clip are great ideas and I love that the magnet could be moved to either the vet clip or the base on the dash, the trouble that I had is that the magnet was not strong enough to hold my phone. A slight bump and my phone would just fall off. It worked great if I was parked and just listening to music or checking my messages, but as soon as I would start to drive, the vibration would cause the phone to fall off. I loved the idea that it could be an interchangeable base, it’s just the magnet is not strong enough for my iPhone.

Love that I have two options, to suction mount or vent mount. Its sturdy. The magnets are super strong even for my larger heavier phone. Very happy. As always armorall stands by the quality of their products.
