Color has changed
The color has changed!!! We have a table and 4 chairs and decided to get 2 more chairs. They do not match the previously purchased set!!! The color is not as pictured and is more red. It’s the best option we have to get to a set of 6 chairs so we will keep the chairs and try not to let the different color bother us.

Not the color walnut as indicated
The color indicated online was walnut. These chairs are not walnut, they’re more of a cherrywood/mahogany color. I have ordered numerous other items online from Target in the past that were notated to be walnut and when they arrived, they were actually walnut in color. These will be returned. The materials themselves seem to be quality, but we never even unboxed them completely.

You would need 6 grown men and a woodworker to put these chairs together. The screw holes don't align on the seat cushions to attached the legs to the bottom. In the process of trying to tighten the screws into the holes, the whole back leg of the chair split down the middle. The wood literally pulled away from the joint and deemed the whole thing useless. Quite the waste of money. And I pride myself on being able to assemble nearly anything with ease. Both chairs went straight to the trash can. The instructions were simple, but the screw holes simply didn't line up. Unfortunately, back to ikea for me, where assemble is quick and easy.

Gorgeous but difficult to build
Beautiful chairs that match the Astrid table, but be cautious with construction. Some of the holes to screw parts in are misaligned, and require a lot of force to fit them together with their corresponding parts. The construction of these chairs was very frustrating even while following directions to the letter, but once they’re put together they do look gorgeous. Just wish the construction and drilling of holes wasn’t as sloppy and they actually matched intentionally.
