A: The Milk Chocolate Delight Shake has 250mg of Sodium. Atkins products are designed for the requirements of the Atkins Diet which limits net carbohydrates. When dieters eat less than 50 net carbohydrates as is recommended, it has a diuretic effect on the kidneys and speeds up the amount of salt and water your kidneys get rid of. Atkins recommends supplementing with additional sodium in the early stages of the diet to make up for this diuretic effect on your kidneys.

A: While there is no official definition of either, a high protein drink should provide at least 20% of the daily value of protein, while general nutritional drinks tend to be more oriented towards providing vitamins and minerals and do not usually focus on being high in protein or low in sugar or net carbs

What enjoy is the minimal amount of sugar, various vitamins aside from protien and Fibre. The taste is good. I drink this 5 days a week for breakfast before going to work. My job is very physical and this shake gives me the energy boost I need. It carries me to our mid- morning break which is 3 1/2 hours after start time. It carries to lunchtime. It keeps my weight down too! The only thing is I wish it was a bit cheaper, Hawaii is expensive enough as it is! Lol.

I sometimes have this in my fridge for a quick meal replacement. The Milk Chocolate Delight flavor is named well - it's delicious and taste just like a milkshake. I have tried a few other flavors and they are too sweet for me. I would like to know a bit more information about using this as a weight loss tool because I don't understand how that would work and ha. ve seen no evidence myself. Moreover, I don't think using the shake as a meal replacement for any length of time would really be healthy considering the milk and sugar ingredients. For an occasional meal replacement I can recommend this. As a long term weight loss solution, I would consult with experts including my doctor.
