I was hesitant to buy it due to all the bad reviews but I figured I'd take a chance. I washed it once and it still hasn't flaked. I like it and it works for me! I think it should be$5.00 though it's a basic Kitchen necessity!

I bought this item in black and after one wash the spoon rest began to peel. I returned it and got another kind of spoon holder.
