A: I took it to the beach for about 5 hours. 75 degree weather. I put 1lb of ice in it. I covered the cooler with a towel. It melted within hr 2, but it definitely kept everything cold for the entire 5 hrs. Still had some ice left at the end but it wasn’t a river in there. The following time I used ice packs and it was a better suited option for me. The one thing I will mention is that it retains the items in the cooler very very cold.
