Description

RTIC's 32 QT Ultra-Light Cooler is built to be light and strong, so you can carry lighter and adventure more. Made with RTIC's unique Ultra-Light design, this injection-molded cooler is 30% lighter than rotomolded coolers of similar capacities. With up to 2.5" of closed-cell foam insulation this cooler keeps contents cold for up to 5 days when following RTIC's cooling tips.

This 32 quart cooler holds up to 48 cans.

Easy to carry with marine-grade rope handles. Non-skid rubber feet keep it steady, while molded tie-down slots secure it in place. Dual Rapid V-Drain holes allow hands-free draining, and integrated lock holes with a 5/8" shackle fit keep your contents safe wherever your adventures take you.

  • A: To achieve maximum performance in your new RTIC cooler, we recommend following our Cooler Performance Guidelines. Use plenty of ice and pre-chill the cooler and its contents before placing them inside. We highly recommend using cubed ice.

Great design, mediocre performance.

Great size cooler for 1 person to use for multiple days and I really like the divider and dry goods basket. However, ice retention is not great. Plan on dumping in new ice every single day if you arent using large blocks of ice. Blocks are a must.

Not as good as the hype

I was really looking forward to this cooler being top quality. But it isn’t. My ice melted within 2 days and I cooled the cooler for 24 hours before using it. The drain plugs have a ridiculous design wire attachment that gets in the way of tightening the drain plugs, which caused my cooler to leak all inside my brand new car. What a mess. Not worth it!

Surprisingly awesome

I needed a new cooler for my trip halfway across the country. I have a Yeti but it's for keeping my lunch fresh, not carrying water, sodas, canned coffee and snacks for 16 days. I took a chance with an Rtic. It crushed the job! Everything was cold and fresh when I arrived after being set up the night before I left and 12 hours on the road, so a full 24 hours. I refreshed the ice packs that night and it went for another 24 hours. Added some ice at my hotel and everything is still cold a week later. This thing is awesome.

Unhappy with my cooler. Our freezer went out. I had a partial bag of ice that I put in the cooler, inside the house. The next day when I checked on the ice, it was melted. Come on now, the cooler was in the house, not in the sun. Very Disappointed

Cooler does not meet expectations

Bought 32 qt cooler for work truck. Have to add 2-3 bags of ice a day. I open cooler 4 times a day. 1put ice in it. 2 get drink at break. 3 get drink at lunch. 4 get drink at evening break. When I refill about 90% ice is gone. Just a lot of water. Have been doing this everyday for over 2 weeks. Pre chilling wouldn’t do any good. Could have got a better cooler a lot cheaper.

We have used it twice, done all that we were supposed to do, the ice lasted 48 or less hours at best on both occasions. I'll give you an extra star because the tumblers work great and the colors are cool.

Beware the bottle opener

Twice I used the opener on my cooler. Bad idea. First time I thought it was a fluke that the top of the bottle broke off. 2nd time I was careful and it still snapped the whole top off. I can't believe it!

My best cooler so far

Great...after one day desert trip at 90+ no melted ice on the next day. WOW, when it wouldn't open in the afternoon ( like vacuum sealed ) I pryed it open carefully. I finally learned to open the drain plug to equalize the pressure ?

Very light but stays cold

Got this for a construction crew to keep on their truck. the ice stays cold (if you follow cooler best practices) and the cooler is much lighter than the Big Guys.

Lightweight, drain leaks, ice retention is okay

32L is a nice size and weight for packing in/out car, ample room for a weekend camp trip. I did prep the cooler with ice the night before but the ice melted faster than expected. The drain leaking is such a bummer. I’ll try to fix it but wish it could’ve been perfect off the shelf.
