I just got back from vacation and noticed my Kohler is leaking and was not able to use it every day to take it down to the beach would leak to me. It looks like where you have to tighten it. It doesn’t seem like it gets tight enough and when you have to loose it it seems like it’s twisting on the back part and leaking from the nozzle, I noticed it the second day and I had to continuously put beach towels underneath it in the back of my Jeep so it would not soak the carpet. What can I do about this? I didn’t have a choice but to use it because that’s all I had with me.

Very disappointed. I ordered this cooler to store ice after my knee replacement surgery for my ice machine. It barely holds ice for more than 2 days, inside the house, closed except for 3 times a day. When my caregiver opens it to put ice in my machine or to put new bags of ice in it. It’s cute and feels sturdy. But i literally could have just stuck with my old cooler and had the same results. For the price and how I am using it in a cool house in the bedroom. I would not purchase again. I guess in a few months when I can walk again I’ll see how it does camping. But I’m not expecting any miracles

I got this cooler mostly for use during a storm. I have some medication that needs to stay cold and didn't want to be unprepared for a storm. I tested this in the house to see how long it would hold a large block of ice. It lasted 3 days but even when it did melt it was still very cold in the cooler. I also didn't buy ice to prep it like it says since this was just a test. I would absolutly pre chill it for a storm though. All in all I am happy with the purchase. Its high quality without breaking the bank.

I have a ton of RTIC gear and love all of the products! I was disappointed with this purchase b/c the large drain leaked from the start. I tightened the plug as much as possible, but still no luck. I disassembled and removed the entire plug to find that the hole was poorly drilled and neither of the mating surfaces were flat. The gaskets were pinched on both sides due to this, causing the leak. I used a file and snadpaper to smooth out the surfaces, flipped the gaskets around and reassembled. This appears to have fixed the problem, but time will tell if the gaskets hold up.

Bought this cooler for a weekend trip. Loaded all our gear in the back of an suv. Noticed that the rear of the vehicle was wet when we had reached our destination and began to unpack. Thought I’d forgotten to tighten the drain ports but after an inspection both were tight but the right side drain was leaking. Moved the contents to another cooler and removed the drain valve. Found a large piece of plastic left from the drilling process sticking through the seal. Removed the burr and reassembled the valve. Problem solved. I really like this cooler and I’m sure it will last Would be five stars except for the initial issue.

Took it on my first camping trip last week and it leaked all over the back of my car! I'm going to have to file a claim. Yes, the plugs were screwed tight. I think it's leaking from the large plug. It's not sealed properly or something. I'm sure it's a good cooler otherwise.
