The ice chest is great. But the custom graphic on top looks terrible. I submitted a brand and your graphic guy couldn’t even clean up the edges. So now I have a black brand with white spots around the edge.

I've never used rtic coolers before, I have a 30oz tumbler that I love. Keeps my coffee hot from 6am-10am. However this new rtic 20 cooler i got, doesn't seem to keep ice. I put ice in my cooler around 7am, and at around 930am all the ice had melted. It's 65° today.

I purchased this cooler to attach to my river raft. What I specifically liked about it are the slots on each side that allow me to strap the cooler to my raft frame. These slots do not interfere with the lid and hold the cooler firm. The cooler maintains good cold retention and looks nice on my raft. Lastly the price point is much better than other brands out there.

I purchased this cooler to keep in the back of my truck. In the heat of a Mississippi summer, this thing performs extremely well. We have an ice machine at work that makes "that good ice," and I can fill it with drinks and ice, and the ice will last a good week and stay cold for a few more days after the ice has melted. The handle does pull out if I jerk on it, but who cares? Sitting in the back of my truck, it really doesn't even need a handle. I took the feet off of it because I couldn't slide It with them on. Overall it's a great cooler!

I would second what another reviewer wrote about the handle popping out being a negative on an otherwise good product. I’m a field geologist and I’ve used the cooler now on a number of multi-week drilling jobs to cart around lunch and caffeine. The cold stuff stays cold so that’s a win, but it is pretty irritating that you cannot grab the handle from the end and pull the cooler towards you - like when you need to reach into a truck bed and drag it out, for example - without the handle popping out. I’ve done this enough times now that the plastic around the handle is all scratched up from the aluminum when the handle pops out and catches on the cooler. Not a huge deal, but annoying when it happens and it could be designed better. YMMV, but if you intend to use this for work, just know that after loading and unloading it a few dozen times in a pickup or a flatbed you will know exactly what I am talking about.

It keeps stuff cold for a long time. It seems unnecessary large on the outside for the valium on the inside. I find the dual drains very convenient, having one always on the right side. The problem is the basket was too small. I had to stretch it to keep it from falling to the bottom of the cooler.

I use this cooler (20 qt ultra tuff in white) weekly for 4 hour trips. It keeps things cold and the cold packs haven’t started to soften when I arrive. I’ve also taken it on a couple week long trips. I start out with cold packs and buy ice the 2nd day or so. In both cases, 8 lbs of ice lasted all remaining 5 days with a little left when I got home. Temps were in the high 70s daytime and 50s at night. Can’t ask for any more. A couple fine points, the handle is hard to get in the locked position - too tight. I also had to remove and trim plastic from the drain spouts for them to seal tightly but overall, this thing works great!
