I had been wanting to invest in a cooler that would keep food cold longer than 12 hours but another brand was just too expensive. I researched RTIC and am very impressed. Kept our food cold and held ice for days before we had to refill. It’s easy to carry with the longer rope handles or the inset handles on each side. Everything that might wear is replaceable which makes this a very smart long-term investment. They were having a sale to compete with Prime Days and so I got a very good deal too! Couldn’t be happier!

Exterior is already showing wear after a few weeks
The exterior logo/paint is already coming off and we havent even had the cooler for a whole month. The interior is great but it looks rough from the outside. Oh well.

Really Heavy, Even Empty, But seems good!
I don't love the rope handles, nor rubber closure mechanism. Both seem like they could wear down over time (especially if exposed to UV rays). Also the rubber closing mechanism is a little too easy to open - we went camping with my 2. 5 year old and he had the best time unlocking the cooler and opening the lid. However, at the end of a 2 night camping trip with lots of daytime opens, we still had ice! We had plenty of space for food and drinks (I also ordered the freezeable divider and dry goods storage- both were really nice to have)

First time buyer
I waited many years prior to purchasing a "good cooler". The hard 65 cooler is great and the divider works well. Though I think it's just too big for 1 person to carry. Wish I would have gotten a 50 or something slightly smaller.

Keeps Ice for Days
I’ve been really impressed with my RTIC 65L cooler. It held ice for several days, even while sitting outside in the heat the entire time. It’s sturdy, well-built, and performed exactly as I was hoping. Definitely glad I bought it and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

We were super excited about
We were super excited about the new cooler. First weekend using it, realized it felt pretty small once packed with enough ice and the dry basket. Also, 3 out of 4 of the rubber feet ripped out on the first day, just due to sliding it a few inches in and out of the trunk. Also, the color we bought just went on clearance a couple weeks later, yay. All in all we were hoping for better quality.

This is a very rugged, well designed and built cooler. However, in order to earn five stars, I challenge RTIC to find a way to shave off some weight because the cooler itself is heavy and when it’s loaded with ice, food, and beverages, it is very heavy. If weight is not an issue, this is a great cooler and excellent value.

65 QT- way too heavy
I love the design and color of the 65 qt and although I read reviews- I feel the cooler is way too heavy. I wish I kept the tag on to turn :( I was hoping they offered this size in the light weight but unfortunately they don’t.
