Lifetime 65 Quart High Performance Cooler, White (91005)

As far as keeping ice this has been a great cooler. The only issues that make me question getting another are that the lid has warped upward at the corners and both of the latches have dry rotted. And I pride myself on taking care of my coolers.

Received as gift and only used it once and went to use it again and the lock handle broke into.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I believe I have the first generation 55 guart Lifetime, 7-10 years old now. Both handles broke and Lifetime replaced them at no cost. Now I got the 65 quart. I can get 6 days of ice on a 20lp bag after pre-chilling. Im a fan for Life.

Solid cooler!

I read a ton of reviews about every brand and all the features of coolers and then I saw a video of a car fire and it literally burned to the ground but there was a Lifetime cooler inside the vehicle, and when they went to look, they opened up the cooler and everything inside was still good and the ice was still in there. Then I went to a picnic and friends had this very cooler and told me how much they love it. That sold me on this Lifetime cooler. Plus, it’s American made, which I just really love. I’m not camping with bears much these days, but if you are, this is a solid choice. The features of this cooler that mattered most to me are the ice retention…it goes for days without melting, and I appreciate that it’s lockable (for people not bears), easier to carry around with the rope handles —two people can easily grab a handle and share the load, and it’s a really good size for a couple days on the river. Add in the price point compared to similar coolers and it’s the clear winner. So glad I read the reviews before almost getting a different brand.

I really like the ice chest. It does everything I want it to do. However my fasteners broke in the Southern MS heat. Where can I find replacements because I really like this cooler.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought this cooler it has 2 bottle openers and wheels to easily pull it. I love the sturdy heavy duty front rubber fasteners. The cooler itself is very rugged and thick but not heavy. This will be our primary pop up camper cooler and can't wait to get some miles on her.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just tried this cooler for one week in very hot weather and we had ice 6 days later! we do make our own 3-4 liter ice bricks, but we were so surprised that this cooler not only kept the food cold, there was actual ice in it with 30+ Celsius weather. Our favorite cooler to date by far. Highly recommend this product, Way to go Lifetime!

I love this cooler but not too wild about the drain plug.

I was impressed with the way it held the cold. I layered with frozen water bottles on bottom, then frozen foods, cold drinks, foods in a Rubbermaid container and then a bag of ice. Held the cold in exponential rising temperatures in July.
