Q: How do you get purees vs mashes vs soft chunks with this tool?

A: The way to alternate between consistency, is to alter the amount of time the blender blends. For chunks, pulse the blender a few times and review to see if you achieve the consistency you want. For purees and mashes, it will require more blending time.

A: Yes just make sure they are fully steamed/cooked so they blend precisely. The Food Maker Deluxe can be used in one of three ways: Automatic Steam & Blend, Steam Only or Blend Only.

Q: How do you clean the water tank? The hole looks really small

A: We recommend the following to clean the water tank. Easily remove it from the machine and take off the cap. Then use warm, soapy water to wash it. One suggestion is to fill the tank with the warm soapy water, put the cap on and shake it ensuring the soapy water reaches all corners of the tank. Then make sure to fully rinse it before using again.

This item stopped working less than 9 months after purchase because of a circuit board gone bad. It was not heavily used, and primarily only for the steam function.

The food maker is the third product by Baby Brezza that I have trusted for my baby’s feeding and nurturing and have been absolutely disappointed and crushed at my experience with them. Two of the three products, including the food maker, have stopped working within one week of owning them. As a first time mom I wanted the best for my baby and spent a significant amount of money on these products to be left cheated. For such an esteemed company their manufacturing does not align with their mission statement. I will never recommend such a company to other mothers.

The rest of the parts are not durable and hard to clean. The water tank leaks water easily and end up my whole table is always full of water when we use it. It also will heat up the base after more than 2 rounds of cooking. I was hoping to use everyday but end up only using when I am short of time because the steam and blend feature is very useful for my busy schedule. Really wished that the parts are better made.

This machine has given me issues from the start. To say I am underwhelmed is an understatement. When I contacted the company to ask why the machine keeps beeping when I press start, I was told that it was because there likely wasn't enough water in the water tank to steam the food - and that It's very easy to resolve by filling up the water tank. However, this was not the case nor did it resolve the issue. The problem lies within the mechanical elements of the lid as it seems to not be connecting or sealing properly. It would be amazing if the company would offer to provide me with a replacement. I did expect much more from this product and the company.
