Barbie in the Nutcracker Clara Doll with Tutu and Ballerina Accessories

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Barbie does it again! The quality is just always top notch with Barbie. The action of the skirt twirling when the legs/hips move is such a fun aspect of this toy. My daughter loves to twirl it all the time and really makes it feel like she’s moving and dancing. I understand this Barbie is Nutcracker specific, but if there was a general ballerina with this same twirling function and then you could switch out the skirt styles that could be really cool and fun! Overall my daughter loves it and it she gets a lot of play time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Barbie can sit or stand and can dance with a flipping skirt. The skirt can be installed with the tulle side out or The Nutcracker side out. Comes with a necklace a headband and a box that opens and you can put items in the box.

5 stars for the toy, 0 stars for Target. The doll itself is beautiful. I love how the tutu moves and I am so excited that they are doing a revival of Barbie and the Nutcracker!! My issue is with Target. I order so much from Target, it’s really hit or miss with shipping. In recent years they have been better with how they package items but I was soooo disappointed to receive the Barbie in this condition. (See pic). I’m not sure what to do since it’s supposed to be a Christmas gift. I guess I should have just gone to the local toy store instead.

My daughter loved the Barbie, but the hand broke off the first day. The material feels softer than our other Barbie dolls, which likely caused the issue.

She absolutely loves watching the dress flutter as the doll spins, and the extra outfit adds even more fun by letting her change the doll’s look. The interactive concept has kept her entertained for hours, as she enjoys putting on little dance performances and creating her own shows. The only feature I think would make it even better is if it included music. That would add another level of excitement to the experience. Overall, though, it’s a wonderful toy and a great gift for any child who loves to dance!

You can also change position of the feet! Combine this doll with with Barbie in the Nutcracker Sugar Plum Doll for a lot of ballet centered fun. The details on the tutu are so charming and on theme!

The nutcracker imagery on the skirt is very cute. I feel this a more premium ballerina doll and makes for good, imaginative play.

Hold her legs and twist, her tutu twirls, adjust her feet to proper ballet forms, press her feet down and she pops back up into releve position. Love that her shoes are attached so no worries on loosing them. Super fun for any child but even more fun for a dancer!

There were some elements of the Barbie that my girls didn’t like. The tutu was difficult to click on and off. My daughter also expressed that she wished the Barbie wouldn’t constantly swivel when you didn’t want it to dance.
