Way too acidic. This is not great pesto sauce. It will work in a pinch but if you have time to make your own or can find a higher quality premade version then got with that. I felt like I was eaten a bowl of lemons. Way too sour. I’ve had the creamy genovese version and it’s salty but way better than the rustic.

I hate giving bad reviews. However, I don't know why this has the high reviews. It was very oily, even after stiring it up in the jar. Thank goodness I tasted it before I ruined the pasta. It had a sour taste, nothing like my homemade which I was out of and was in a pinch. Definitely will not purchase again.

This pesto is really good! We usually get the vegan Trader Joe’s pesto but was on a time crunch and had to grab some from target. It’s not vegan but it’s just as yummy as our usual. Kids loved it too.

Edible, but not good by any means. It also had a very weird smell to it. The saving grace was that I made tilapia with it and that helped tone it down. I was in a pinch, but definitely will just make my own pesto moving forward cause it’s much more worth it than this.

Worst pesto I’ve ever had. Spinach nor cashews have any place in pesto. Although if it tasted like those two ingredients it wouldn’t be pesto but it wouldn’t have been so gross. Somehow it tasted like pennies and burps. Gag.
