If you are expecting real pesto this is not for you. If you like American pesto that tastes a bit like vodka and licorice then you may be fine with this.

Creamy Genovese Pesto- NOT in this house again!
I never met a pesto dish I didn't love until we tried this last night. Previously we've used several brands of jarred pesto, but I could not eat this! I didn't expect a "creamy" version to be that different, but it was. Simple meal- grilled chicken, Barilla spaghetti with Barilla Creamy Genovese Pesto. We never tried "creamy" before, but I couldn't imagine it would be that different. My husband didn't like it either, but he was starving & ate his. NEVER again!

No pine nuts. Not authentic. Way easier to make at home the right way. The ingredient list tells you all you need to know. Italy should be ashamed to make & export this green sauce.
