Q: The specs say it is 45.28 Inches wide. Is that with the extensions up, or folded down? If that is the width with the leaves up, what is the width with them folded down? I'd like to fit it in an area that has about 30".

I bought this to fit in a very specific small space, which it does well. It seems like a lot of money for the quality.....there was actually one place where the wood was broken and they patched it with wood filler (it doesn't really show once it's assembled, but still). It seems sturdy enough to hold my heavy meat grinder, but we will see once I start using it. It was kind of a pain to put together and some of the holes didn't line up properly and needed coaxing (I am quite handy). A few screws just spin and don't get tight. It took a long time to be delivered to me on the opposite coast.
