Q: what is the width between the legs? Or from the outside edge to the leg? My fireplace opening is 30" and I want to make sure the legs will fit in the opening to be flush against the fireplace.

A: Hello Tootsie - please note the measurement between the legs are 26" and the measurement for the outside of the leg to edge is 6"
