We actually do not recommend to use the item on a wood deck or near a side wall or any flammable surface due to the radial heat produced, for your and your family and friend's safety. Q: Are there any drain holes on the bottom so it does not fill up with water if left out during a rain storm?

Q: Our patio is stamped concrete. Is it OK to set the fire pit directly on the concrete, or will it leave black marks or damage the concrete?

A: Hi RQJDsmom, I will gladly assist you with this question, Our Hex-Shaped Outdoor Fire Pit w/ Flame-Retardant Lid can be place on stamped concrete and will not cause any damage since it has a steel base that will prevent ashes from falling, however, if you are using it on a windy day, additional precaution may need to be taken to avoid any ash marks around the fire pit. We live in North Florida & the humidity here, combined with the sprinkler systems (standard in many FL sub-divisions) makes keeping a metal fire pit from rusting-out, a near impossibility. Our suggestions are as follows: -A cover is a MUST! It won’t completely safeguard the pit if you live in a humid area but it’s your 1st line of defense. - If possible, bring it inside when not in use. We kept ours in our screened patio/lanai w/ the fp cover on it & that helped slow the rusting process. - Place all-purpose sand in the bottom of the pit before adding the firewood. The first thing to rust may not be floor of the pit but once it’s rusted through, your only recourse is the trash bin. -Repaint your fire pit as needed with specialty HIGH HEAT spray paint available in most hardware stores. We SO loved this particular fire pit until the bottom rusted through approximately 2 yrs after purchase. That’s when I did my research into extending the life using these simple suggestions. May our loss be your gain!

Used a few times. Love it. Have had cheaper fire pits. This one is better but I am also taking steps to preserve it longer such as a tarp in winter and rain. I’m very happy with my purchase. Would recommend. Using for casual family bonfires and s’mores.

I haven't used the fire pit yet due to super hot days and nights but it is in garage until weather cools.

It was nice at first but now it’s coming up on a year of owning it and using it maybe 2-3 times a month and the whole bottom just gave out. There is a huge hole and we have to get rid of it now.

The shape is beautiful and completely different from any other we have seen. The size is perfect. It holds so much more wood then we thought. 8 of us cooked hotdogs and roasted marshmallows at the same time. The top is great because it actually does keep the ashes from floating around We can't wait for the weather to change so we can use it in the cold weather.

The description fit the dimensions of our fire pit. So we ordered it. When we got the product it was a tiny fire pit with a tiny screen. It did not fit our fire pit at all...

This product arrived complete scratched and basically glued together. I know it looks cute here and is a good price. I'm warning you - don't do it!! The quality is insanely low. Avoid this product at all costs! Target "couldn't issue me a refund" because it was an alternative partner. I'll never buy another product from this external group again. 0/10 avoid avoid avoid.

The pictures look great, but it’s made very cheaply. Had it out for one day and it’s already rusting. The metal is flimsy and cheap and the lid barely stays on
