Bestway Power Steel Oval Metal Frame Above Ground Outdoor Backyard Swimming Pool Set with Filter Pump, Ladder, and Pool Cover

Bought this pool the end of March. Was so excited to set up Mother’s Day weekend only to find out that the pump leaks water because the seal doesn’t fit in the lid. I have lost half of my water after filling The pool. So disappointing. Have tried to contact the manufacturer, but no response yet. I just went ahead and ordered me a new cover retainer.

Bought this pool set at the beginning of summer and I am totally happy with it. The only problem I see with this set is that the cover barely fits the pool and because of that it is almost impossible to cover the pool by yourself. The cover needs to be a little bigger. Wish they could give me a size that would fit it better I have been looking for a little bigger pool cover and cannot find one. They are either to big or to small!

After putting the pool together and as the water was filling, my roommate noticed a small leak where the bottom and side of the pool is sealed. Because we already had put it together and started filling it up, we chose to patch it. If not for the hole, I am completely satisfied!

All fasteners are already installed. Simple to set up and filter works great!

Why would they provide a pump suitable for 1,000 gallons with a water capacity of almost 3,000? I’m not sure if I’m the fool for buying this or they just don’t want any return costumers. I will never buy one again simply because you have to invest money in another filter, they should give you one that works to begin with

We bought this pool shape and size due to the area we had to put a pool in for the summer. Honestly is much easier than a traditional round pool! Also fills up pretty quickly.

Just set up and filled with water. Seems okay so far however like everyone else, the cover simply does not fit.

I bought this in December and we just got it set up 3 days ago. The pump is terrible doesn't help the slightest bit not to mention when I finally opened it and scanned the QR code to register it, it wouldn't let me add the 3 year extended warranty. I'm very disappointed

I bought the pool less than a month ago. As soon as we set it up, the liner leaked and we had to patch. No one had even went swimming yet. I’m working with the warranty people now

Great pool had it for 5 years before I had to buy a new one. I just upgraded to a larger pool from bestway.

I had the 18X9 for around 10 years. pinholes in the liner here and there and finally decided to get a new one. We bought the 20x12x48" in July of last year. When we took it down in August we saw a large amount of water under neath but thought it was just from how we drained the pool. We just put the pool up again and with around 5 inches of water there is water all along the side of the pool coming from somewhere underneath the pool. I cannot believe that the liner is no good. We are currently draining the pool but I am so upset to have paid all this money for a pool with a faulty liner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Set up is complicated. We added cardboard over our grass and a 20x12 liner under the pool to protect it from anything poking through. There is a picture to not place the supports directly on grass and to use paving stones. It is easy to miss if you don't read the entire setup instructions beforehand. This version needed 14 stones. Luckily, we had extra stones on hand. The box says 30min team set up. Took us a little over an hour. My husband had to set it up mostly on his home since i am not allowed to lift anything over ten pounds, but i directed our kids on how to help. The plastic ladder steps seem a little flimsy dnt think it will survive till next summer in the Texas heat. We have it in the shade, so I'm hoping that will help extend the life. The pump is also pretty small for the size of the pool and the amount of water it needs. The input and output holes are high on the sides, so you can not underfill it. Setting up the pool cover is also a team effort. I wish I had a view window on the side since sides are so high. But even with the complicated set up the kids are having a blast which is the whole point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] *I received this product complimentary from Spreetail/Bestway and Influenster for my honest review* I was absolutely thrilled to be getting an outdoor pool but once we got it, it’s been a bit of a struggle. The pool cover was the part that made it that way. The instructions weren’t super clear and as of right now, the cover is held secure with plastic vice clamps the cover barely fits - and it’s apparently a really common thing. We looked up youtube videos on how to put it on, and every one of them complained about it - there's only two strings on either side and a drawstring on each end - and the strings come out really easily. We ended up using snake wire to get it completely up. It looks like it should hold in place but I’m a little worried that once we begin to fill it up, it’s going to come completely undone. I’ll update as soon as we’re able to fill it (weather permitting!)

We haven’t had enough good weather to use it yet but know we will spend a lot of time in it this summer. Frame and legs gets rusted and no spare parts where that can be order to get them replaced i just had it for 2 years and is going to the trash i have already called and they only have the top rails but i need the legs as well and they dont have them and do not know until when they could have them.

It was a bit cold but as spring moves to summer I can see them using it every day. I could not put it together. It was too difficult for me and over my skill level. My husband and two older sons spent a Saturday getting it set up. First they had to clear an area. Then they put down sand. After they put a tarp down. Then they started set up on the pool. Honestly with the prep and everything it took the three of them all day. It seems thick and durable and something that will last if well taken care of. I love all the accessories that came with it. I’m so glad I didn’t have to buy those separately. As far as water filtration and maintenance, it has only been up a week so unsure. My husband is in charge of that. Honestly great for summer time with teens!

In a nutshell,lay the pieces out, then put them together through the liner and fill with water. When we finished it seemed simple. The process was a little aggravating because we were just overthinking it. The finished product is great for pool “season”. The kids can play and the adults can lounge. Although it looks good enough to leave up year round our plan is to have it up for spring/summer and simply empty and take it down in fall. Bestway made it easy to do it either way.
