Birdfy Feeder 2 Pro AI Smart Bird Feeder with Dual Cameras, 2K Portrait & 1080P Wide-Angle, Solar Power, and Real-Time Bird Recognition for Families

I received this product a few weeks ago and am very pleased with the quality of the Birdy Feeder 2 Pro - Bird Feeder Camera. First, this is the third product that I have from Birdy. Adding an additional camera to my app is so easy - even people who are a bit technologically challenged (like myself) will find this extremely manageable. The app guides you through step by step to add the camera onto the existing platform and then it is nicely organized so that I can quickly view each of my bird cameras. Second, the bird feeder is well made and easily attaches to the pole. I like to use a 6 ft pole with a barrel baffle and the bird feeder has all of the required attachments to make this happen. Third, the camera is wonderful. It provides a panoramic view of the birds at my feeder. I can see up close the various features of the birds. In addition, the bird feeder's shape allows mulitple birds to feed at the same time. And last but not least, the bird feeder holds quite a bit of seed so I am not having to frequently refill. This has been a great product and I am pleased that I have added this feeder to my collection.

I love this Birdfy smart feeder with a solar panel. With the addition of a solar panel, I don't have to take the feeder down to charge it. It remains charged. I love having the two cameras so that I get a close up view that highlights the individual feathers as well as the broader view. Being able to see my feathered friends up close is a daily highlight. The feeder itself was easy to set up and start running with the quick start instructions provided.

Great being able to see new birds and visitors in our yard with this birdfeeder! This is the second Birdfy feeder we have owned and now that we are getting to put different food mixes in it, it has helped a new variety of bird starting to show up we have not previously been seeing. I could not be happier with the Birdfy Cam 2 Pro! The image clarity and vibrant color are absolute game-changers—even for fast-moving visitors like finches. The dual-camera feature is incredible; having one lens automatically zoom in and follow the birds lets you see breathtaking details up close, right down to their individual feathers, eyes, beaks, and talons. What I Love: Lightning-Fast Setup: Unboxing and pairing the Wi-Fi took less than 5 minutes. Mounting it securely to our backyard tree was just as quick and easy. Smarter AI & Seed Cover Design: The AI identification on this model is noticeably better than earlier feeders. The built-in seed cover keeps birds hanging out at the perch a little longer, giving the camera more time to make a quick, accurate ID. Great App & Notifications: Instant motion alerts land right on my phone, and saving high-quality clips to share takes just a second. Easy Maintenance: Refilling is a breeze because the lid opens completely wide, and the seed tray holds a generous amount. Taking it down from the tree to clean or manage seed levels is quick and straightforward. Durable Build: We've already had a couple of severe storms, and it held up beautifully with minimal water reaching the seed. (Squirrels will try to get seed, as expected with any tree feeder, but taking it down to manage seed levels is super convenient). The Verdict The video clips this feeder captures are incredible. I've logged stunning, crystal-clear clips of goldfinches, cardinals, and Eastern bluebirds feeding right up close. If you enjoy bird watching, I would highly recommend this camera feeder—it brings your backyard wildlife to life like nothing else!

I love the consistency and clarity of the Birdfy Feeder Pro 2 cameras. Wifi connection is consistent and strong, and solar charging is great. It is super easy to set up, just make sure to fully charge the camera inside first, and I also recommend connecting to your wifi first before fully installing on your pole (or however you're planning to attach it). It holds a fair amount of seed. Sometimes I need to wiggle the feeder a bit or use a bamboo shower to get the seed to drop down the side tubes and fully fill the tray. I love the two camera's, it's really fun to have wide angle view of the whole perch and have the option of close up portrait lens, too. That camera does an impressive job of moving towards the bird on the perch. Another great product from Birdfy! Beware, though, once you get one of these high def ones, you may find yourself checking your original standard def blue and white Birdfy a little less often! One really positive, unanticipated effect this feeder has had on me is that I am scrolling IG, FB, and tiktok WAY less now. Everytime I absent-mindedly pick up my phone to scroll, I see that I have texts from birds, and I do this instead. What a terribly welcome change! Thank you Birdfy, this Birdfy Feeder has been immeasurably positive for me!

Birdfy Feeder 2 Pro Is Amazing! I have been a Birdfy owner for about three years, starting with the standard Birdfy feeder with the blue roof. I did purchase the seed guard and it really helps with messy eaters like Blue Jays and Flickers. Following that, I purchased the Birdfy Nest with a solar panel. We are on our third house sparrow brood this year! From the nest making to seeing the young birds leave their home is magical. Our recent purchase is the Birdfy Feeder 2 Pro. We absolutely love it. The duel lenses are a game changer. The snapshots are of super high quality. To have a choice of viewing angles is so fun. Not that the birds mind, but the new look is also very appealing and with the feeder latch in front of the roof, it us much easier for us to stock it with fresh seed. Its great how this company keeps upping their game and making already premium products even better. You can tell they are bird lovers. Setup is a snap, but remember if you have a 5 GHZ network, switch it to 2.4 GHZ when you are initializing the feeder. Again, the solar panel keeps things charged up, so you never miss a bird moment. Since we have lived in the northwest for years, we are pretty familiar with most of the species that visit our island yard. I did try the AI feature and it works as well as the Merlin App or better. The sharing feature is also great. Our grandson loves birds and tech and it is the perfect activity for young birders. I am so impressed with the Birdfy Feeder Pro. Our next purchase will be the Hummingbird Feeder Duo. We are hooked, and so are our feathered gems. Vince and Tina

I bought this about a week aho and got it up and running immediately. It was so easy to set up, and I had birds visiting instantly! I love getting real time notifications of bird visits! From rose breasted grosbeaks to american goldfinches this feeder has added a huge highlight to my days! The camera quality is top notch as well. Some of the best i have seen. I love that this one camera has two lenses in it and i get two videos recorded at once.

This is my third Birdfy product and second feeder. The setup was simple and straightforward. I really like the design and look of this model. Refilling and cleaning will be easy. The image quality is fantastic. Highly recommend these products!

Great birdfeeder. I am able to live stream to my website through YouTube! I can share all my updates to my followers live. This has been great to share my love of birds and conservancy. The battery life is almost always 100% with the solar panel. The dual camera allow for me to have different perspectives. There are two cameras built into this feeder in the single device. It is straightforward to assemble and getting it connected to your phone is simple too. I connect via WiFi to my birdfeeder and I view from my phone any updates or I use my connected YouTube live feed. You can also share with friends a private link to your birdfeeder so they see notifications too. The first bird I had visit was a dove and it was so sweet to see her up close.

I love the picture quality from the camera and the secondary camera tracks birds for closeup views. It fills easily from the top and for the most part you shouldn't have to do anything to keep the seed tray full. Every once in a while I have to help the seed down, but I am using a blend with no shells that is a bit more densely packed. I added this feeder to my main pole system so I even see some activity at other feeders on the pole. The bird identification is not very accurate, but I haven't found a system that is. Setting it up was pretty easy, but the QR code used to link the camera was partially blocked by a pop up to hit if you are having issues. I accidentally scrolled up and the bottom of the code was visible and it instantly connected. This could be due to my phone, but I'm not sure. Overall I have been very happy with Birdfy!

Great quality feeder and camera combo. The images are excellent. It's solar powered and easy to fill with your favorite bird food. Easy set up with a phone app.

So much fun! Really clear photos and the solar panel is so helpful to not have to recharge often. The reservoir for food is very helpful to lessen the number of refills needed. So many beautiful birds are attracted to this and I am really enjoying it. The app is also very easy to use.

I can’t even put words to how much joy my Birdfy has brought me. I love getting notifications on my phone that aren’t spam calls, but gorgeous pictures of birds in my yard! Sometimes the AI gets the identification wrong, but it is right about 80% of the time. I love that there are two cameras- the more zoomed lens provides really detailed images of the birds’ feathers. Easy to refill. I have mine in a very sunny spot and it stays charged for a couple of weeks, but a couple of cloudy days can wipe it out. The only design flaw I have noticed is that sometimes the charging cable (from solar panel to camera unit) comes unplugged. Otherwise, this is a brilliant device. Way, way better than the bird feeder with camera I had a few years ago from another brand. Highly recommended! I am being refunded for my purchase for writing a review. However, this is my second Birdfy- my first I paid full price for and I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Fast easy setup and picture quality is much improved over the standard camera. Birds love to pose!
