Birdfy Camera Feeder
I love the picture quality from the camera and the secondary camera tracks birds for closeup views. It fills easily from the top and for the most part you shouldn't have to do anything to keep the seed tray full. Every once in a while I have to help the seed down, but I am using a blend with no shells that is a bit more densely packed. I added this feeder to my main pole system so I even see some activity at other feeders on the pole. The bird identification is not very accurate, but I haven't found a system that is. Setting it up was pretty easy, but the QR code used to link the camera was partially blocked by a pop up to hit if you are having issues. I accidentally scrolled up and the bottom of the code was visible and it instantly connected. This could be due to my phone, but I'm not sure. Overall I have been very happy with Birdfy!

My favorite thing in the yard
So much fun! Really clear photos and the solar panel is so helpful to not have to recharge often. The reservoir for food is very helpful to lessen the number of refills needed. So many beautiful birds are attracted to this and I am really enjoying it. The app is also very easy to use.

Amazing pictures of backyard birds- such a joyful addition!
I can’t even put words to how much joy my Birdfy has brought me. I love getting notifications on my phone that aren’t spam calls, but gorgeous pictures of birds in my yard! Sometimes the AI gets the identification wrong, but it is right about 80% of the time. I love that there are two cameras- the more zoomed lens provides really detailed images of the birds’ feathers. Easy to refill. I have mine in a very sunny spot and it stays charged for a couple of weeks, but a couple of cloudy days can wipe it out. The only design flaw I have noticed is that sometimes the charging cable (from solar panel to camera unit) comes unplugged. Otherwise, this is a brilliant device. Way, way better than the bird feeder with camera I had a few years ago from another brand. Highly recommended! I am being refunded for my purchase for writing a review. However, this is my second Birdfy- my first I paid full price for and I would do it again in a heartbeat!
