When potassium benzoate is mixed with citric acid (as found in citrus fruits), there can be a risk of forming benzene, a potentially harmful chemical. This occurs because citric acid (like ascorbic acid or vitamin C) can trigger the breakdown of benzoate compounds, leading to the formation of benzene under certain conditions such as heat or prolonged storage. I was not ok with this. And it has 2 preservatives in it.

The cherry flavor didn’t taste “fake” or artificial like it sometimes does. It’s stronger and more flavorful than sparkling water drinks I’ve tried before, and the fizziness was similar to a soda. Overall, I definitely recommend these and plan on trying out other flavors!

It claims to boost mood, I didn't find much effect in that regard. The cherry lime flavor reminds me a little of cherry children's cold medicine. My boyfriend wasn't a fan, but I like them as a big cherry lover. This is a good option for me as a shift worker. I recieved this drink complimentary from Bloom in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I wasn't paying attention when I selected this product that it was "sparkling" as I typically don't care for anything in that category, but this Cherry Lime flavor by Bloom has such a great strong flavor that I don't even think about sparkling water flavor when I drink it. The packaging is vibrant and cute. It has amazing carbonation, and even though it says it's an "energy drink" it doesn't leave me feeling jittery or anxious like traditional energy drinks can tend to. I definitely recommend picking a flavor that you're interested in and giving these a try!

If you are inclined to stomach issues after a lot of caffeine this may upset your stomach a little. Overall, I really enjoyed it!

The cherry lime is REALLY sweet with no hint of lime whatsoever. The peach mango has a very artificial fruit flavor and the sweetness level is also intense.
