Q: Does it grow mold at the bottom like most racks

A: Our cleaning and care instructions are: NOT Dishwasher-safe. Wash thoroughly before initial use and periodically. Hand wash in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and air dry. DO NOT microwave. DO NOT boil or sterilize

Q: Anyone ever try putting this in the dishwasher? I know it says not to.

A: Yes I tried. The heat from the dishwasher bent the grass part. I had to place a book on it to get it to go back to normal. I wouldn't recommend putting it in the dishwasher.

I liked this rack at first because it’s good looking and very spacious compared to othera. upon having it for many months, I absolutely didn’t like it anymore. You have to constantly clean it or it gets moldy and it’s hard to clean the grass piece because it’s so stiff! Whoever designed this didn’t think it through!

The water goes to the bottom and it get smelly and moldy so fast even if you wash it constantly. The grass doesn’t get dry and even that I wash it every two days the grass started got mold. Not secure for your baby’s health!!

I purchased for my duaghter's new baby. I thought the tree would come with the grass. It DOES NOT. You have to buy separately. A bit costly for just the grass. So far, we have only used it for one week, it works to store bottles after washing. It does take up some counter space.
