Q: Do these bottles work for rice cereal mixed with formula?

A: Thank you for your e-mail. We recommend checking with your pediatrician prior to adding cereal to a bottle. All of our nipples are designed for liquid flow so you will need to test several levels of nipples to determine what is appropriate when adding rice cereal. We recommend starting with a level 2 or 3 and adjust accordingly to the baby’s needs.

They were working great for the first month after two months they leaked like crazy. I went on to. I contacted the company. They gave me tips. They did everything but they just leak. I think it’s just crazy. Don’t buy this please.

These bottles in my opinion are horrible. They leak consistently wasting a good amount of formula each use. The bottles have a line where you shouldn’t fill past but even doing so these bottles still leak no matter what. The only pro to these bottles are that the ounces are marked clearly making it easy to see compared to other bottles. But due to the fact they leak I would not buy these bottles in the future.

These bottles leak constantly. Bibs and clothes get drenched. I’m loosing precious breastmilk because of these faulty bottles. I thought the reviews about leakage were being dramatic and exaggerating, but I should have listened. I would not recommend.

I like the nipple shape. You can use them with or without the green pieces but I like using them! I feel like they help with gas. our lactation consultant says she like these too

We had to switch from breastfeeding to bottle feeding since baby wasn't eating enough. We had a 4 oz Dr. Brown's bottle given to us as a free registry gift. We loved the anti-colic part of this and the narrow bottle shape. Our baby loves these bottles and so we bought a pack of 3. He also really likes the paci that comes with it too now that he is used to the bottles.

The 2 bottles I have were gifted thankfully. It seems like a good bottle with a great vent system for gas, colic etc. However it leaks pretty bad where the nipple and ring connects and around the area of the ring and bottle. I’ve noticed space all around the nipple and ring to the point I can slide my nail into the side of it. Mind you the nipple came attached to the bottle already so it’s no like I assembled it improperly.

Take the advise of everyone else and don’t buy. Bottles leak really bad and the nipples are hit or miss. Either flow too quick or baby can’t suck milk out.

My baby has bad allergies and colic and these bottles help with gas that she would swallow further contributing to her colic. These were recommended by our pediatrician. They are annoying to clean though.

We bought these bottles as a recommendation from the lactation consultant. Our newborn is about 10 weeks old. She has not been able to use other bottles as they are too difficult for her to express milk from. The Dr. Brown’s bottles gave us the exact opposite issue - the flow rate is extremely high out of the nipple to the point where my newborn was spitting up and choking on the milk. We bought all the other levels of nipples, but those have a higher flow rate so that did not help. Another issue is that after running the nipple through the sterilizer, the nipple collapsed - the plastic completely warped and was no longer suitable for use.

Every single one of these bottles leak when you fill it to 4oz. They are not above the fill line, I’ve taken them apart and put them back together, they are not over tightened, I’ve dried them completely. Nothing I’ve tried has fixed the issue.. I have the pink ones as well and I have the same issue. Having newborn twins and bottles leaking all over EVERY feeding… making even more laundry. I’m not happy
