Wanted a glass option and experimented with different bottles also. These are terrible honestly. I gave 1 star because it’s a glass and not plastic bottle. These leak, have a bunch of parts that in theory don’t seem to bad but washing them after every feed gets annoying. I wouldn’t mind the million parts to clean if my baby took to these well but every time I would feed hik with these he would start coughing on all the liquid coming out and leaking. My baby prefers the Philips Avent glass bottles.

Leaks so much… pretty sure my baby is losing at least an ounce of milk from leak each feed. So annoying. Don’t know why it’s so hyped

Made the switch from gulicola & pigeon

LONG POST BUT HELPFUL!!! I did so much research on the best bottles and ended up purchasing gulicola and pigeon. Needless to say I made the switch to these Dr brown bottles. I found that it was taking my daughter only 6-8 minutes to finish a 3oz bottles with the super slow size nipple on the gulicola and pigeon. I purchased the Dr brown preemie nipple because I’ve seen so many videos on how fast the flow was but we ended up using the flow 1 it comes with for our 3 week old because it was taking her 30-35 minutes to finish with the preemie one. The size 1 was perfect with her finishing a bottle at 15-17 minutes. I believe the flow is fast when turning the bottle upside down because of the venting system but when baby actually drinks baby has control over flow. I didn’t have any issues with leaking.

Bottles leak!!

I cannot stress how much these bottles suck—every single style made by this company. They all leak! The plastic ones seem to actually seep from the sides of the bottle, but the glass and plastic ones leak from the lid/nipple. Originally I had the plastic bottles, so I got the glass ones thinking that would fix it, but the glass leaks just as bad as the plastic! The worst part is that the company is aware of it and when I called to ask, I was sent some different lids and given tips to address the leaking, none of which have helped. This company either needs to fix their products or go into a different business.

We've found these Dr. Brown's glass bottles to be a fantastic choice for our baby, and they've really seemed to cut down on fussiness and gas after feeding. The slow flow nipple has been perfect at one month old and they're also very durable.. These have definitely made feeding time much smoother for us.

Glass chipping!

I have always used the plastic version but for this baby I wanted glass as it is less toxic. Be very careful, the neck park chips! For as pricey as these are I expected better. Highly disappointed that after I invested so much money into these bottles, I have to find an alternative. Chipping, especially around the neck does not seem safe.

Looking for a bottle that makes it easy for my breastfed babe to switch between bottle and breast easily and these are it! Haven’t had any issues with leaks or anything else. I read all the instructions to ensure I’m it over tightening or anything else they say not to do. Not sure if the leaks others are experiencing are quality control or user issue. I really enjoy these bottles and they are a fair price for nice glass bottles!

Do NOT BUY FOR NEWBORN

Not a fan - 6 months ago, Verified purchaser
I am not sure which bottle is worse- dr.browns or tomee tipee. This bottle practically dumps formula all over my newborns face and makes him choke— it is NOT slow flow. This bottle has made feeding a sad stressful time for my son when it should be satisfying him. It is actually leading him to swallow tons of air and cause stomach upset. I would not recommend this bottle at all as a new mom and don’t know how it has been so highly rated.

My son & I both love these glass bottles! Easy to clean & wash. The glass is nice and thick. I went from exclusively breastfeeding to giving him a bottle at least 2-3 times a day. We do not experience any leakage while using either!

We have other branded bottles that work fine, but needed more and they were out of stock, so I opted to pick up these Dr Browns ones instead. These were a major disappointment! My daughter is spitting up like crazy after eating now which never happened before! I am so surprised that these so called specialty bottles specifically for spitting up & gas would cause so much! Our regular plain old bottles worked just perfectly. I’ll have to get more of those because these are a no go. I can’t have my daughter spitting up half her food every time she eats.

The bottles came open very unsanitary, the nipple was touching the outside box that the package came in. Because the box of bottles came open as well I will not be using these im extremely disappointed with target I can’t believe they would deliver a package in this condition.

LEAKS CONSTANTLY

the WORST bottles. they leak so much milk & you have to keep them upright at all times because milk also comes out of the nipple when turned sideways even with the lid on. milk will randomly seep out of the sides when feeding the baby - the air vent is on correctly and the lid is not too tight or too loose. it doesn’t matter what we do. no other bottle has given us as much trouble as these. wasting my milk and a waste of money
