Use the tips & visuals in this guide to make taking your child's body measurements easy-peasy.

Dont have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

  • Height

    Have your child stand in front of the fridge.Mark the top of the head with a magnet. Measure a straight line from floor to magnet.

  • Chest

    Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.

  • Waist

    With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the waist flexes naturally. Keep the tape level & comfortably loose.

  • Hip

    Have your child stand like a tall tree with feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of the hips & seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit your child well. Measure along the seam from crotch to leg opening.

Comfortable and versatile pant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these pants for my four-year-old son who weighs 35 pounds, and is wearing a size XS. These pants are lightweight, have a dry fit, feel, and great for active kiddos. They are easy to pull on, and have a cough at the bottom . They are sweat waking, and dry quick. These are great for active kids, or just lounging around the house.

Another great pair of boys pants

These were a little large on him so I would say they run pretty true to a size 7. These pants are very well made. I have been impressed with everything from this brand. They are comfortable. The joggers are great to prevent the pants from riding up a ton

Nice material and relaxed fit

The material is unique and has a slight sheen which makes these feel a little more finished and like a nicer pant. These for true to size but we sized up because I want them to last a bit longer since he’s growing so quickly. We chose this lovely blue green color.

The best joggers for kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these joggers for my 7 year old who weighs 65lbs and is wearing a size 7. These fit like a glove. The material is thin, and lightweight. These pants are great for active kids. The waist band is stretchy with ties for easy adjustments. The ankles have cuffs which give off a sporty look. They have a dry fit material also. My son looked great in them and they are good quality.

I order this pair of joggers in size 10 and it is a true fit on her. It has an elastic waist for a better comfortable fit. It has pockets and the material seems like it’s going to be easy to wash and dry.!
