Do NOT Waste Your Money
Purchased the game and used the code. The Switch “accepted” the code but it never downloaded and is not in the redownloads section. The code now says it’s been used.

Poor Experience
Do not buy. The console accepts the code and doesn’t download the game. When you go to Redownload the game, it doesn’t appear. When you try the code again, it says it has already been used.

Fun game, free version on eshop, purchase will give you access to many more playable characters
Brawlhalla has a free-to-play aspect but you don't get access to all the characters at once. IIRC, they cycle through them every day and you only get access to like 6 characters or so. You can buy the game which gives you access to all current and future characters. The free version is really fun with a group of friends, I haven't tried anything else besides online play with friends. You can always download the free version to see if you like it first, before making this investment.
