Being new to the crafting world, I wanted a machine that was easy to learn and navigate. This product is great and the canvass workspace website that you get access to, is also great.

I don't know how I cut material without it! I no longer have to cut material which was always crooked by the time I cut through a piece. In that respect, a fine machine! Now I need a T-shirt pattern (hint)!
Nice for the price

I was skeptical about replacing my other ScanNCutDX that died before I used it for the 5th time, but I had new supplies for it and I wanted to use them, so I made the purchase and I'm happy with the way it works, cuts.

So I really wanted to love this, but honestly I don’t. It’s really not much better than my silhouette. I bought the t to make it easy to cut out letters and stuff for my classroom after I have either printed it or laminated it. Sometimes it didn’t even seem to scan it correctly, other times the mat wasn’t sticky enough ( it’s brand new). The ease of use wasn’t as easy as I expected. The app or software is terrible (could be my lack of knowledge with the program) but I am pretty tech savvy. Overall just disappointed I paid so much for it.

I just received my SDX125E and learning what it will do. I had a SDX85 but it was delivered damage . So now starting over. I plan to use the new SDX125E in my quilting and applique. The SDX125E will actually preform what I have been wanting to do, scan applique patterns and convert to embroidery files. Brother Canvas will help me accomplish this conversion.
Works for scan and cut but not print to cut

The machine cuts well. The display window is very small to work on. I live in the US an am very disappointed that the print to cut feature is not available on any of the machines. It was one of the reasons I purchased the machine. How can it be a feature on machines that are outside the US not here?

Mat longevity and Canvas Workspace is not as good as could be. Canvas is not as user friendly as other cutting machines. I was hoping for an easier way to offset sentiment stamps. Seems like a lot of "tricks" are needed to be successful. Love the machine and its internal software.

The Brother Scan N Cut is not suitable for elderly crafters. There is too much reliance on Apps and online methodology. I tried to use it for a week and returned the product to Brother.

I really like this machine even though it takes awhile to learn how to use it. Canvas work place is great but I still can’t figure out how to work with multi colored designs and cut them out properly. I like to use original designs but I am having trouble cutting them out right despite watching numerous videos. I feel that the instructions are lacking.

Printed out the manual for this. It's not the most user friendly, but I keep trying. I only want it for cutting material for an block of the month which is out of my comfort zone, Took a while to learn how to use the "Canvas" to make the pattern. I keep at it. Canvas needs to be made more user friendly for drawing.
