I like that I can program it to vacuum even while I am away. I also like that it works on carpet and hard floors. I also like the self emptying feature. Lots of other cool features with this product. I am always amazed at how much its picking up and how dirty the floors really are. Your really cannot go wrong with this, makes keeping the floors clean so easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shark matrix is a really great robot. It cleans incredibly well. It was super easy to set up right out of the box. It gets in a lit of small areas and gets over rough terrain way better than my robot vacuum did. It keeps my floor clean. These are the pros. The cons-When the shark runs its a little louder than the robot. Large fibers get stuck in the out hole and it does not directly notify me despite having all notifications set up. Overall though I really like the shark and it's a great vacuum that is worth buying. The cons are not bad and they are minor.

I have a dog and cat and it picks up all of the hair. It also picks up the human hair that my teenager loses around the house.

It automatically gets cleaned out into a holding tank, then once a month or less depending on how much dirt it needs to pick up you will then empty that. It wa easy to set up and connect to my wifi too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently owned another leading robot vacuum brand and recently replaced it with this Shark robot vacuum. The Shark robot vacuum is everything my last robot vacuum was not! The first thing that stood out to me is that the self-emptying canister is bagless! When it empties it is much quieter than the one from the other big name robot vacuum it replaced! It has a great feature that I use often called Spot Mode where it makes multiple passes over a 5x5 foot area. I use this feature in my small laundry room and anytime my kids spill crumbs on the floor. It’s targeted room cleaning and scheduling is convenient and functionality works well. I have no negatives and in the month or so I have had this vacuum, it has exceeded my expectations! I only want Shark vacuums going forward.

It does an excellent job cleaning carpets (suction is powerful) and all types of flooring. The app is easy to use, it is great to have the ability to set so some no go areas. The robot is never lost or stuck and it is quiet! The self empty function is amazing as well. I strongly recommend this amazing Shark Matric robot vaccuum!

I am very impressed with the Shark Matrix robot vacuum quality and the great cleaning job it does on my floors. Tall docking station with filter and a dock that is equipped with a self empty base. It has voice commands such as telling me when the battery is low and need to be charged. It has charging lights to let you know when fully charged. Also has an app supplied with how-to-videos, tips & tricks, troubleshooting and FAQs. Highly recommend this Shark robot vacuum to keep your floors super clean.

I unboxed it read the instructions, followed them and thought everything would work out fine. Sadly, I was disappointed that it gave me an error message that the bumper was stuck. I messed with it and messed with it and finally got it to work. After that it was able to work, it tells you how to download the app and that was super helpful. Overall, its a very nice vacuum but the instructions were not clean and really, I had to figure it out on my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very cool to have a vacuum that you don't have to push around and move furniture, this will scope out your home and plan it's map to how you have your house set up. You can add the app to your phone and set it for when you want it to clean for you. If it needs charging during vacuuming it will go back to it's base and charge then start where it left off. It picks up everything in its path. It even empties itself too.

Physical setup was simple thanks to everything pretty much being ready to go out of the box and the first run process was well guided in the app. I like the ability to set and edit no go zones for those areas that shouldn't be touched rather than having to block them off. Performance wise it does a good job of cleaning, and is quite quiet, especially compared to a traditional vacuum. I like the scheduling and spot clean features as they provide an extra level of flexibility and convenience. The self-emptying function is a great addition in this model, both for not needing to empty the dirt as often and not needing to empty the robot itself (the base has a removable disposal box). I'd definitely recommend and get it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have set up the Matrix to run in our basement. Initial set-up was tricky. I already have the SharkClean app for another vacuum and so I thought it would be just to add the Matrix. Well, I don't know if it just me (I have an Android phone and poor internet in rural MN), but I finally figured out that I needed to have location on my phone to then be able to connect the vacuum. The instructions did not tell me to do this so I had many failed attempts before this and was ready to call customer support before I figured this out. Then the vacuum was able to map the rooms. I love how this vacuum saves me time by taking care of some of the extra cleaning needed in half of our home. It seems to have powerful suction and does a good job taking care of all the areas it can go to.

We have a 1500 sq foot 1st floor and previous robot vacuums always seemed to get stuck somewhere or miss parts of the house. The mapping system on this robot resolves both issues. I love that you can mark areas of the house as off limits without the need for ugly magnets strips that my kids are forever moving. Fair warning that when the vacuum returns to the base to empty, it is very loud. By default it will return to its base to charge and then resume sweeping later if it didn't get through the whole house. We set it up to run in the evening and it would restart in the middle of the night and wake everyone up. It took me a few days to figure out the issue, but it was easy enough to turn that feature off once I looked in the manual! Overall, I would highly recommend!

It is quiet and it does not take a bunch of bags and part replacement like other leading brands. I really love that the bin it empties into does not require a bag. Just empty the bin and clean the filter, that is it! In addition, it cleans really well. Although, it does not care for thicker carpet. The app is easy to use too. Overall, I am very pleased with the Shark Matrix.

You can map your house and have it block off areas that you prefer it doent go! It self empties into the stand. It was so easy to set up. I have 3 pets and it does well with the hair! I was able to schedule the time that it cleans so that it works while we are not home. The system also allows you to have it clean my entire downstairs or I can have it do certain areas of my home more frequently.
