This is my go-to for removing makeup. I apply it without using any water, then use a wet cloth to wipe it off. Then I follow with witch hazel on a cotton pad. It leaves my skin feeling soft and clean! I don't use it for every wash as my face does get oily easily (and I only wear make up 1-2x a week).

This oil cleanser is great in a pinch to remove all my makeup because the gentle cream cleanser for sensitive skin is so gentle, it doesn't remove any makeup so I use the gentle cream cleanser in the morning and then I use the oil cleanser in the evening to wash everything off my face. This oil cleanser, however, has a very strong scent!! It is very irritating if you have allergies. Like other reviewers I agree that even though this product is ophthalmologist tested, it does not feel great when it gets in your eyes. It will leave your eyes very milky or watery afterwards and bothered. For the cost, however, this is much more reasonable compared to other oil cleansers on the market. I have used this product many times and have gone through several bottles. This would be perfect if you made an unscented or sensitive skin version!! Please!

This is the only face wash I use and my skin loves it. Removes all of my make up and keeps my skin balanced. I have purchased the Burt's Bees cleansing oil many times. My one complaint is the packaging which leaks almost immediately if place on its side.

I have scaly dermatitis and rosacea and this oil is nice.... it doesn't seem to irritate it ..it actually softens my skin. I've been using it for about 5 days... so far it's okay. but.... I actually bought it with one of the makeup cloths to remove eye makeup and even though I keep my eyes closed and I go over very gently and rinse .....it burns ..my eyes are red.. it's definitely not good for the eyes ....not at all.... I agree about the pump it squirts out all over it shoots out. the smell is not bad ..I mean I don't think the smell is bad compared to what some people say.. overall it's nice but my my main goal was to remove eye makeup.... so I'll have to figure out what to do about that.... I use a pencil eyeliner and a little eyeshadow.... no mascara

I’ve been trying to find a good facial cleanser so I tried this one I started breaking out like crazy which was unusual for me. I couldn’t figure out what was causing it, so I stopped using this product and it fixed the issue. I wouldn’t use if you have acne prone skin even if you use a face wash after because this does have pore clogging ingredients (NOT NON-COMEDOGENIC). A family member of mine loves this though and doesn’t breakout so it depends on your skin type, I have combination skin for reference.

I love this cleanser for my very sensitive skin, but I HATE the packaging. The pump leaks and makes a mess on my counter and the cabinet I store it in. Today I even pulled off the label because it is so messy. I feel that I am losing product. It would be much better in a flip top cap. Please put it in a different package.

This product will burn your eyes when removing eye makeup— especially mascara!! The only plus about this product is that it does melt away your makeup and sunscreen. However it does burn the eyes although it should be gentle, and it takes longer to melt makeup than other oils/balms I’ve tried. I also didn’t notice any hydration benefits or if it helps with oily skin. I don’t recommend trying this out as a daily cleansing oil.

I hate this so much! Other oil cleansers I’ve used are always gentle enough to use in eyes and to take off water proof mascara. Don’t use this on or near your eyes! It burns and leaves the eyes blurry. The smell is atrocious. And after rinsing, it leaves my skin and hands with a rubbery like feeling on them.

I bought this product because I heard double cleansing was good for oily skin. I have oily and acne prone skin and honestly should've known better than to try this product out being that it contains coconut oil which is HIGHLY comedogenic. Also saw mixed reviews on this product but still decided to give it a try. I suffered and am currently still suffering from one of the worst breakouts ever. Honestly would not recommend at all unless you like having thousands of pimples and acne scars on your face.

I’ve been using this oil for over a year now. I’m not sure why people think it smells bad because it doesn’t. It works so well. I was told by my aesthetician to get an oil based cleanser for my acne prone/sensitive skin and man oh man has this cleansers changed my face. I use this with a foaming cleaners and it’s the best duo! Keep in mind that everyone’s skin is different and what works for one person may not work for you. Doesn’t mean it’s a bad product.

The product itself works well, it just smells rancid. It's really stinky. The pump needs to be redesigned, because the oil shoots out all over the place and splashes everywhere. I think it can shoot over 5 feet away. Also, the pump ends up with oil puddles around it that drip down the sides of the bottle and get everything covered in oil. Almost like a capillary action of the oil traveling up the tube out of the part that screws onto the bottle. I'm tossing it out because of the oily mess and stinky smell. Good money wasted, unfortunately.

Very effective in removing make up. I also do facial massage on my face with this prior to using the facial cleanser. My skin is sensitive and dry and my skin loves this. The smell is like baby powder smell which is pleasant but I wish it was 1 notch lesser.

I double cleanse at night, so I use this to remove my make-up and sunblock before I use my regular facial cleanser. It does a great job of removing the make-up/sunblock residue from my face.
