Wired rungs along the top, sides and bottom portion of this rack give you plenty of space for wet clothing that needs to be air dried. Q: is the rack rust free?

  • A: I would suggest spray painting it with a rastolium spray paint if the coating eventually flakes. Mine did after 6-7 years of use and I just take it outside in the summer and hit any spots with a wire brush and a bit of paint. 10+ years and I wouldn't give mine up for nothing.

Dont buy this.

We bought this drying rack on Feb 20, 2026 and were really excited to replace our old racks. Within this time, It has completely fallen apart. There is one arm left in tact. I am 5’2”, 125 lbs and my husband is taller 6’2” and 190 lbs but our clothes are not huge or heavy. It’s been used maybe twice a week. Super disappointing and really could use a refund but not sure how to navigate that now that the items been used.

It's not that durable. Even at first use, I needed to glue and fix a rod. However, I cannot find any cheaper butterfly drying racks than this, and for an occasional use, this is great. I recommend, but at least expect that you should fix this at some moment.

This item broke as soon as I opened it. I tried reattaching the piece that fell off, but either that piece or a different piece breaks off every single time I attempt to use it. Because of its construction, it can’t be fully assembled with any pieces missing, so it’s useless!

Works good enough for me

I use mostly for drying a few sweaters or pants at a time. Gets the job done without spending too much money. It will fall if I don’t spread the middle legs wide enough or don’t latch them together and it can get bent if stored improperly. But it’s been rust free and for the price, it’s a decent drying rack.

Loving this drying rack

There when you need it

This came in to use in a time of need. I enjoy the amount of items it can hold and the weight capacity of those items. I struggled a little bit with the design as I filled the top and forgot to add to the bottom making it difficult to reach when I needed it. Additionally, the wings can be a bit unstable with the smallest of taps. Overall, I truly appreciate it, I just wish there was a way to secure the wings such as a clasp.
