    The 2024 Chrome Soft-a marvelous golf ball

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 2024 Chrome soft balls are the perfect blend of speed, spin, and softness. It is rare indeed to find such a great performance combination that fits your driver, FW’s, hybrid, irons and putter. They match up well with driver swing speeds of 80-95 mph and iron swings that are slower than that. The 2024 chrome soft is a marvelous golf ball!

    Great Ball Overall

    I play Chrome Soft during the summer but bought these for the cold weather. I remember reading a book by Jack Nicklaus who said he played ladies golf balls in the cold, so I went to a lower compression ball for the time being. If it’s good enough for Jack…

    Year after year consistency

    I have been playing Chrome Soft since they were first introduced by Callaway. They are a great ball for an amateur but frequent player. They don't have the distance of a ProV, but not off by much. They spin a little less and gives great control ability. Mishits are still directed on target without much penalty. This balls has a good soft feel for approach shots and has no problem holding the green. Pretty much love this ball compared to any other I have tried.

    Got a double win!

    I have a slow swing speed and have been playing the Super fast and Super Soft balls. I was frustrated with not being able to hold a green and decided to go to Chrome Soft and see if they would hold greens better, as advertised, even if I gave up distance. In fact, I GAINED a little distance and am now holding greens instead of running off. A double win!

    Best low swing speed ball ever

    Gave all my ProV1s away. I’m a 7 handicap, low swing speed player. I get 10-15 more off the tee and great feel and control within 100 yards. Love these golf balls!

    Very good golf ball

    Callaway’s Chrome Soft are my choice for golf balls. I don’t hit it far, but I am pleased with the distance I get. The ball plays well from driver to wedges. I like the feel of the ball for putting. Offers consistent performance.

    Switched out golf balls of a lesser value.

    The exterior box was of the correct balls I ordered but the interior contained another type of ball (same brand) of considerably less value. This almost certainly had to be done intentionally. Very disappointed that Target allowed this to slip by.
