A: The Cannery Bridge Nightstand is composed of an engineered wood with a paper laminate finish. If something is spilled on your product and cleaned relatively fast, no damage will be done. But if the liquid has time to absorb, damage will occur (just like solid wood).

Bought this nightstand for my grandson. Several errors in the instruction material led to damage trying to assemble it. Pieces now reside in a landfill somewhere. Waste of money.

We had a previous sauder piece that we liked and boutght this for a new nursery. But clearly they changed the hardware to reduce costs and removed the bearings from the drawer sliders to save money. Since this piece is so small/light, the increased force required to open the drawer without rollers/bearing rocks the whole night stand. This is completely unacceptable especially in a Nursery since this creates a tipping hazard.

I was so excited to find this Mango wood style similar to the West Elm "Anton". I have purchased Sauder products in the past but this "Sandorri Mango" line is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Two pieces were missing predilled holes all together. The drawer slides were incorrectly drilled for wrong sides (verified/double checked- only works assmebled one way with the wooden pegs). This caused the drawer to stick out far past the frame. We emailed a very detailed description of issue, along with pictures and proof of defects/receipt to Sauder customer service. The reply was not at all helpful. The response was to call the customer service number to review the assembly booklet and trouble shoot with them. The pics were proof of defects- no longer worth our time and will never purchase these products again (no matter how good it looks!)- Complete garbage. Save your time and money- look elsewhere.

After 12 hours of working on this, it is STILL not together. Nothing works and holes are not lined up properly. I have no drill to make proper holes and I am now wishing I never purchased it. Not worth the aggravation.

These are great nightstands. Very easy to assemble and are aesthetically appealing. The drawer isn’t on a roller so it doesn’t glide AS smoothly, but it’s still easy to open/close. These go great with a farmhouse style!

During the past few months, my husband and I were converting our 2nd bedroom to a den/office with a sleeper sofa. We purchased 2 bookcases, 2 nightstands and a coffee table with storage. I didn't like the finish on the first bookcase, so we decided to order a second one, with a different finish and put the first in my husband's closet. Perfect fit, great additional storage and the finish on the 2nd one was perfect. We then ordered 2 nightstands, which we use as end tables. Also, ordered a coffee table with storage. They all look wonderful, and our guests were surprised to learn they were put together by my 90-year-old husband. Our 23-year-old grandson helped him with the first bookcase. . . he now considers himself a pro as the other pieces he did by himself. All pieces are of high quality, we have not found anything to complain about and financially they are a bargain. Sauder Furniture is a great company to work with and easily available to discuss any concerns you might have. Now my husband is looking for another project. . . HMMMMM ???
