The rubber base provides ultimate curl definition while allowing hair to maintain moisture. To use, divide wet or damp hair into sections. Start from the bottom of the section and slowly work your way to the root. Repeat in each section. To prevent breakage or knots, never begin detangling at the root. For best results, use with Cantu’s Coil Calm Detangler.

A: There are 9 rows but you can take some out. The brush is glued down you have to break the glue.

A: Hello - The bristles are not removable. If you want to clean your Cantu Detangler Brush, we suggest filling a small bowl with warm soapy water. Dip a clean (but old!) toothbrush into the water. Gently brush between the teeth until any product build-up is removed from the teeth and the base of the hairbrush.

Strong & Reliable for Wash Day
The Cantu Detangle Edge Brush makes wash day so much easier. The sturdy bristles glide through my hair without too much snagging, and the non-slip grip makes it easy to handle when my hands are wet. Black film coming off brush
The black coating on the brush comes off when the brush is wet. Considering this is a detangler brush, it’s safe to assume it’s being used in very wet hair and therefore shouldn’t fall apart under those conditions.

Good quality to handle tangles
I bought this for my dogs who are long haired. I wanted something that would help with the tangling they both have and would be able to handle a lot of use brushing our dogs. This has been great so far and I like that the part with the brush ends is attached (others have this part slide out sometimes, not a fan of that) it really helps with the curly hair around the ears!

Great for ethnic hair/thick hair
So I’m half Korean and I definitely inherited the Korean side when it comes to my hair. Standard bristles do not hold a chance when it comes to detangling my hair. If you have thin hair, this brush is probably going to be overkill. For me, it’s perfect. It doesn’t feel great on the scalp but it gets the job done. I’m impressed.

The comb is way too sharp and combs straight across the scalp roughly. I like the matte black masculine style of this brush, but it is definitely not a pleasant experience to use this brush. I'm having my wife return the product back.

Thick asian hair 1C/2A
I bought this yesterday and ever since i was a child. I broke often combs to hair brushes. I noticed reviews on this one got mix feelings but in my case so far. Despite hard bristles of the brush, it seems my scalp enjoys it. I do lay the sides thats no bristles flat then start move the hard bristles downward as i brush from the middle towards my ends. I never liked too soft brushes on my hair and i often have dandruff if i don't brush/hydrate my scalp/hair correctly. So far nothing been broken or fallen apart. Hair feels softer and no matter how much i use the brush. It smooths my ends of my hair. It might not work for everybody my review is just one of them "personal experience" type reviews. I love collecting different brushes to combs this one will stay 😎 Would I recommend this? No. Why? Cause its a mix option and if you hate too hard stiff bristles then this isn't for you.
