Very sturdy, looks good, was easy to put together. There is a flowery scroll work design around the edge of the table and I'm not a big fan of that - it's not super visible in the photos. BUT the size of the table is nice - it seats 5 easily without having to add the central leaf. The central leaf, which you can add to expand the table, fits in easily. The two halves of the table slide apart and you just drop it in. We bought the table version with the black finish.
