Q: Has anyone had a reaction to this like a rash or burning? I tend to have very sensitive skin and seem to react to nearly every lotion I have tried :( Also, does it have a scent?

A: This lotion has caused a rash and burning on both my daughter and I now. She has somewhat sensitive skin and I wouldn’t consider myself to have sensitive skin but something about this lotion does not react well with us.

Q: Is this position parabens free? It does not look like there is any in the ingredients however it is not mentioned nor touted to be “paraben free” please advise!

A: Don't use it if you have rosacea; I just tried it on my face and found that it burned my rosacea, although it's probably fine if you have normal skin!

Nongreasy, blends easily into skin and nonfragrant
This was recommended to me by my dermatologist for my dry, flaking skin. I was amazed at how quickly it brought it back to its original softness with no more flaking. I use it daily to keep it that way.

Good but greasy
Works good at hydrating the skin but it's very greasy. Compared to the regular, daily moisturizing CeraVe, the main difference I see is the addition of Shea Butter which is why this is so greasy. It's also about $5 more than the already expensive daily moisturizing version and why I only buy it when there is a deal. I am using it now as my winter moisturizer, but the greasiness is really annoying and I'm not sure if I will stick with it. Curel used to be my go-to for winter but for some reason Target stopped selling it, so I figured I'd try this since I love the daily moisturizing version for the rest of the year.

Ouch!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lotion gives me a tingling, burning sensation immediately after applying which does eventually go away, but it’s a very unpleasant experience. I still find it to be hydrating, but I do not feel that it is any better than their other products. I absolutely will not use this on my face, unlike their Daily Moisturizing Lotion. I’ll stick with the daily lotion and the moisturizing cream for pain-free hydration. I will not be repurchasing this product and I do not recommend this to anyone.

I have used this for 4 years on my face .I have a lot of thoughts 1 I suffer with acne and oily skin and this has never broke me out or made me more oily looking.2. This is a tip of mind get the off brand/generic of this product it works just the same but cost less ,thank me later 3. This will last you a long time if you only use this on your face ,I wash my face once a day with a chemical, exfoliating, facial cleanser, and then use this at night and my last lotion lasted me 2 years.i know kinda gross but I've never had to go out and buy any other facial moisturizer within that time. Period. 10/10

Itching Like CRAZY!
I have been using cerave for years and have loved their normal lotion. I recently saw they came out with this and it is supposed to be more hydrating. I have really bad eczema and I gave it a shot and it is breaking my whole body out itching so badly. I had to take a few Benadryl and wash it off immediately. I was using it and noticed it was itchy at first but wanted to give it a few days at least. Would not buy again.

Says "fragrance free" but there is a strong smell
I generally love CeraVe creams and lotions, but this one is not for me. While it's a good moisturizer, there is a strong, lingering scent that bothers me. One of my reasons for buying CeraVe products in the first place is that I'm sensitive to fragrances and strong smells, and I'm used to CeraVe products being mostly scent free.

Cerave intensive moisturizing lotion
I tried your newest intensive moisturizing lotion recently and here is what I think of it: It stings my skin… not at all pleasant. It is thick, heavy, and quite greasy. My skin stays greasy and it gets on my clothing and my sheets until I wash it off my skin. It is too expensive. I do not recommend this product. Will not buy again.

Very happy
I enjoy this product. It has very little smell at all and it's very moisturizing. I use it on my body and my face. Generally I put toner, actives, serums, on first and then use this over it. I am very happy with it!

Greasy and smells unpleasant
Unfortunately I did not have a good experience using this new product. It is advertised as non greasy and fragrance free but it’s literally the complete opposite. After applying the lotion my body felt and looked so greasy and I felt dirty. The lotion also had a very strong unpleasant scent. I have used cerave for years and this new product is a huge miss in my book. I wish I dint pay so much for this product.

Before using it, my hands were like sandpaper and starting to split. After a couple of days, my hands are no longer splitting and do not feel like sandpaper. I also like that it doesn't take a lot to work, it doesn't feel greasy, and it has almost no scent at all.

Best Face & Body Cream
I'm in love with this moisturizer. Made sure to wait allow enough time using before leaving my results. First of all my skin is sensitive. Though I enjoy original iconic cream texture wasn't the right choice for my face. This is wonderful. My dry sensitive face and body loves it. In the past my face would feel dry hours later no longer. In every way this exceeded my expectations. The texture is creamy, light weight, absorbs without any problems. Love the tub, and would love to see with pump in the future.

burning and breakouts
I have used several CeraVe products. This is the first I do not like. Like many others here, this caused my skin to burn. I kept using it anyway thinking that maybe my skin was just SO dry and damaged that it was temporary. Well, the burning sensation DID go away after many days of use, BUT I started breaking out (weird tight clusters of pimples). As soon as I stopped using this, my face cleared up again. And don't even THINK about putting it on after shaving your legs!! Burn city.
