burns on cracked skin
This lotion is nice if your skin isn't cracked. If you have cracked skin, it really burns! It also really burns if you've just shaved your legs and then apply this lotion after showering. I prefer the older formula and will never be purchasing this one again!

I love this. My body likes this. I have noticed a difference. My skin is better during the dry winter months. I highly recommend this product. It is the best moisturizing cream I’ve ever used.

This is a great body cream, which really moisturizes my dry skin, especially during the cold, dry winter months. Even though it is on the thicker side, it glides on smoothly and absorbs really wow. My morning application lasts throughout the day and leaves my skin feeling well hydrated and soft. This is a winner for users with dry skin and a bonus is that it is fragrance free. Wasn't sure I wanted to spend the money but so glad I did. I've needed to use lotion/cream everyday for decades (even in summer) cause my skin is dry. I have a few favorites and this has become another one. VERY MOISTURIZING BUT NOT greasy. It absorbs into my skin, keeps it hydrated for hours, doesn't leave any type of sticky feeling, and yet forms a barrier. The jar I purchased came with a pump -EVEN BETTER for application.

Good as body moisturizer but not for face
It’s moisturizing but made my skin breakout. Also my son’s face developed clogged pores (comodones) from this. It’s too thick as facial moisturizer, yet it’s quite good for body. I use it on my hands, a bit pricey if used just for hands.

Intensive Cream is A++
I have always used Cerave moisturizing cream for my body and it has always worked well, but when I saw the intensive cream, I had to give it a try. Coming into the dry and cold winter months my skin has never felt better. I use it immediately after I take a shower and my skin feels fantastic for days. Will definitely be purchasing more!

Excellent Cream for Super Dry Skin
I love the regular Cerave cream but I needed something heavier for the winter. This cream is wonderful. It looks and feels similiar to the original Cerave. But when you put it on, its more deeply moisturizing. I specifically use it on my face and it’s been very hydrating, absorbs quickly, has no scent and feels light on my hands compared to other heavy creams and ointments. This intensive cream is a winner for me, and works well with the actives that I put on my face at night. I have very sensitive skin and I didn’t have any problems with the this cream.

Lotion is horrible
I love the moisturizing cream, but I got the intense repair lotion this time. Big difference from the cream. The lotion feels very sticky on my hands and unfortunately I bought the 16oz bottle which was $20. I wish I would of stuck with the intense repair cream. Don't waste your money on the lotion. It feels very heavy and sticky. Very disappointed.

Way too heavy for the face
I like how quickly it absorbs and the texture is nice. It makes your skin feel soft and smooth instantly. I also like that it’s unscented. My complaint is that it’s WAY too heavy for facial use. I had to wipe it off after a few hours because it felt too suffocating. I’ll use it as a body cream, but absolutely NOT on my face. For reference, I have dry, flakey and sensitive skin. My face is also dehydrated. I felt this cream was too strong for my face… which could potentially lead to a breakout and I don’t want that.

I was hoping it was a fluke but after seeing other reviews seems it’s not unfortunately :/ I bought this for my daughter who hates thick lotion on hands but get SO dry in winter, I hoped this would be a good option since it’s lighter and reputable name. As soon as I put on she started crying saying it burns and itches; What is the deal with this product?!? Disappointing :(

This lotion made my baby break out into red bumps and she was crying! I tried it on my hands and felt stinging. We love cerave products so I was so shocked to have this experience!
