This cleanser is my go to for an instant surge in hydration! Days I’m wearing makeup I will double cleanse and this is my first cleanser, works great to help remove makeup. I will go in with my makeup recovering balm or micellar water and then go in with this product, it feels incredibly creamy on the skin. I have very sensitive skin and this has never felt like it’s stripping my skin barrier. 10/10 I recommend!

I have normal skin. This cleanser cleans really well, but does not leave my face feeling hydrated at all. I can feel how tight and dry my skin is after using this. At first, I was using way too much so I toned it back a bit and that helped my skin feel a bit less dry. But it was still too drying for me. I recommend CeraVe's other cleanser, the Hydrating Facial Cleanser. That one felt more hydrating than this one.

The CeraVe Hydrating Cream to Foam Cleanser is so good! I have been using it for around 3 months now for double cleansing. I have found pairing this with the normal Cerave hydrating cleanser has been a perfect combination. It foams up during application, leaving my skin feeling clean and free of dirt and makeup whilst remaining hydrated. It does irritate my eyes if it gets in them when I remove my mascara but honestly I still love it! It hasn’t caused any breakouts for my acne prone skin which is a massive win. I definitely recommend!

I like the idea of "cream to foam," and this product certainly does remove makeup well; however, it left my face quite dry. I could tell after the first use that it was going to be a problem. Even after applying CeraVe serum and nighttime moisturizer, my face was dry the next morning. Am planning to return it, and let them know why. Very disappointed.

The face wash does its job but the pump on both bottles that I bought does not work. Not convenient at all. This kinda negates any good review I would give for the face wash itself. I’m using the product up much faster than I would have bc I’m pouring it into my hand in order to get some out of the bottle.

STOP - First, this is not the typical cleanser formula! This is the foaming version. Find the regular cleanser. This version smells terrible and the lather feels really off and you can’t easily rinse the cleanser off your face. You have to keep rinsing over to really scrub away the lather, even then, it stays stuck in your hair. This is a very disappointing product.
