This bench has a boucle material on top and metal legs. The assembly instructions were not that great but all tools and screws were included so we put it together in about 10 minutes. It is sitting at the end of a full-size bed in guest bedroom paired with a Magnolia Home comforter set. It is long and well made. I am happy with this purchase.
