A: We figured out how to clean it after a lot of frustration about how dirty it had gotten. There's a piece at the bottom that is a single line of rope that ties the crochet together and if you find the knot (hidden inside the bottom) you can untie it and then pull the inside out of the bottom opening (takes a bit of effort to squeeze out the inside). Hope that makes sense, it's a bit tricky.

A: Hello Ger. That's a great question. As you will be spot cleaning the cream coloured one, detergents and light acids like vinegar should work well in treating stains on cotton textile. You can use bleach as a last resort if you continue to have trouble with spot cleaning. -Ace

Solid but not too soft
The Cloverly Chunky Knit Pouf by Threshold it’s a good size pouf ottoman. It is sort of a greenish brown color, kind of olive looking. I wish it were softer because it’s not very comfortable on bare legs or bare feet. The material is rather scratchy. It is sturdy though and would make good extra seating for someone smaller.

In love with this Cloverly chunky knit pouf has a sturdy knitted appearance that looks great in any space. It's the right size to put your feet up on sit on when you're in the need of extra seating. The pouf doesn't having any funky armoma smell to the fabric design. The only drawback is that if you have a big spill on it there is no way to take the cover off to wash it, so it only wipable with damp clothe for maintenance. Over all it's adorable decorative item for your living space.

Thresholds Cloverly Chunky Knit Pouf is really aesthetically pleasing in any room of your home. It is well made right out of the box, doesn’t flatten and remains its shape after each use. It’s made from a heavy weighted knitted brown chunky yarn with hints of beige flecks woven in. The inner material is a brown cloth that is filled with a bean bag filler. It reminds me of warm winter sweater, but in a pouf! It’s super easy to clean by just wiping off with a damp cloth. It’s so versatile to use as an added needed seat at times, a foot stool after a long day or even as a seat for your dog to look out the window. Even using as just a decor piece in your home, that’s just so comfy every member of your family will find the perfect use for it.

Beautiful ottoman! I absolutely love the color of this ottoman. It matches with everything and it looks so cute in my bedroom. I use it to sit on it whenever I’m putting on my shoes to get ready for the day.

Cushion wears down
I had 2 of these for a couple of years. While they look very nice and the external roping feels high quality, the cushioning inside eventually gets worn down and was nearly 1/3 or less of their original height by the time I got rid of them. These were used and sat on for brief periods almost daily by adults, so they are probably fine for use as footrests but not so much for sitting on.

Lovely chunky knit pouf that added beauty to my living room. The color pops thru out my first floor. So easy to move around and extra comfortable when watching tv, everyone at home loves using it either for leg support or sitting. It’s maintenance is super easy due to it’s nice color and style, haven’t had an issue to maintain it as new. No assembly needed it come as is so super nice.

This pouf is cute enough, but it is extremely stiff. The green color is a little muddy but would work very well with warm neutrals. I do love the chunky sweater knit, and the pouf is lightweight and easy to move from place to place. Better to be too firm than too soft, but still, it’s not comfy to sit on. Best as a foot stool.

I love the look of a knitted pouf. This Pood is very sturdy. I can sit on it and do not feel it becoming misshapen. I like that it can be used as extra seating or a foot rest. Although my little one has used it as gym equipment and has managed to make the cover shift off center just a bit. Does not effect functionality and just takes time and patience to fix.

This is a very cute little pouf/ottoman. It feels like high quality material and has a nice appearance. The design is especially appealing to my cats for whatever reason. My only complaint is that it has a very chemically smell right out of the box.
